🧮 Sweet CSAT Trick – 5
🤝 The handshake Problem.
Q – In a Party there are 10 people. They all shake hands with each other once. Total how many handshakes took place in the party?
A – This is a very famous question pattern which is often asked in many exams. There's a straight forwards method to solve this without using the n(n+1)/2 formula. You simply minus one person, multiply it with total no. of people then just half the result. That's all. That's your answer.
Eg. Total 10 people are there in the party. So you minus 1 person. That is 9 people. Then you multiply 9 with total no. of people, that is 10. So 9 x 10 = 90. Then you just half the 90. That is 45. that's the answer. Total 45 handshakes took place in the party.
Cool right? 😁
