Everyone knows that reading books is not only pleasant, but also extremely beneficial, and if you add a little reflection, critical thinking and imagination to this cocktail, it will turn out a bomb! Students in written form and then orally share their impressions of their favourite books or any ones they were forced to read at school, write brief summaries, note what they liked and disliked about the characters, the plot or the book as a whole, invent and draw a cover, give a general assessment, and then discuss everything in pairs or mini groups. Where or when? Teach your students to distinguish between when and where in the context. At first, students work independently, then they check the answers in pairs. To consolidate the topic, the same sheet with proven correct answers can be used in the next lesson to practice listening comprehension. Divide the students into pairs, one reads any question without the question word, the other, without looking at the answers, should understand what fits the meaning of when or where.
