In another life time pre CON vid, I thought I had it all sussed out, I loved writing about life , and I had been writing since I was a child, through short stories. When I found a love for music, I started penning those stories to music. Since then, I used to use that medium to give back to the community by offering up my time to teens, setting up music workshops and I also used travel this beautiful island of ours, to help raise money for éIRe's homeless... Then.........Then, Our world was turned upside down, we all learned life was not what we thought it was and that there were absolute greedy bastards among us, who did not see the beauty like we all did and just went about , bottom feeding like the vermin they are. Personally, I will never forgive them for what they had done, my life changed at the start of 2019, and though I had always questioned things, Ill admit for about a month, I fell for it, but then started to see the cracks, nothing started to add up.. I'll be honest, I miss playing music and some day I hope to get back to it, when as a people we fix this madness that is upon us, writing and playing music was my life, but helping to save my people is just way too important right now. For now, I'll just remember that time when I felt happy and I made others feel happy with what I did. Here is a song I penned, a story about a young girls wonder at seeing an old man on the Tv who seemed lost, ( having that dreaded Alzheimer's disease) she could not understand why and this song is her asking her mother those vital questions.. Its a live performance I had done to raise money for the Simon trust, we raised 5 and half grand that I night I believe, In the beautiful setting of our beautiful county of Sligo.
