Why did the government ever give contracts to characters like Sutcliffe when they know his background? Sutcliffe and his associates took a man up to the mountains and beat him senseless. Later, they returned him to Ballymun where he was from. Within 90 mins, he wad shot in the head and killed. Sutcliffe denies any link to the killing and was not charged in relation to the murder. Of being charged with false imprisonment, Sutcliffe said “I am deeply sorry for what occurred, which was entirely out of character with my life up to then and subsequently." Sutcliffe pleaded guilty to falsely imprisoning the young man (who had robbed his store earlier that day) an indictable offence that carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. According to multiple court reports, including in the Irish Times, he was given a 12-month suspended prison sentence at Kilmainham District Court on 26 July 1996. Sutcliffe, however, told The Ditch, “The Probation Act was applied” and that he does “not have a conviction”. Yes, he doesn't have a conviction, but the fact remains the Quanta and Goldstein boss abducted a man, beat him, and interrogated him. Seefin Events was paid over 10 million alone last year for this illegal development in Kippure. To keep human beings in overcrowded, unsanitary, and illegal structures and the whole development could contaminate the drinking water of the majority of Dublin residents. Sutcliffe's other contains have received tens of millions each from the tax payer through government contacts for IPAS (legalised white collar human trafficking) centres. When we submitted an FOI to the Central Bank of Ireland to find out who was on Goldstein's board of directors, our request was refused.
