Trichinosis :
🔴 Etiologic agent : Trichinella spiralis.
🔴 أسم المرض/ Thichinosis
🔴 infective stage/ larvae.
🔴 clinical features
1. The intestinal phase ( nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, pain)
2. The muscle phase ( myalgia ,palpabral edema, eosinophilia ,fever, )
🔴 Diagnosis/
✔ Muscle biopsy.
✔ Detection of larvae in blood or CSF.
✔ Detection of larvae and adult worms in stool
✔ELISA.
Loa loa ( Eye worm)

🟢 الناقل / mango flies
🟡 infective stage/ microfilaria
🟡 clinical Features
🔶️ calabar swelling beneath the skin .
🔶️ fever
🔶️ pain
🔶️ Pruitus
🔶️ urticaria
🔶️ allergic reactions
🔶️ retinopathy
🟢 laboratory diagnosis:
Detection of microfilaria in peripheral blood, urine ,sputum, CSF- stained with Giemsa or unstained.
Eosinphilia.
Definitive hose : Man
First intermediate host : Snail
Second intermediate host: crab
Infective stage : metacercaria
