🐧 Linux ලෝකයම හොල්ලපු "Copy Fail": පොඩි Click එකකින් ඔක්කොම ඉවරද? ​ඔබ දන්නවාද? ලෝකයේ තියෙන සුපිරි පරිගණක (Supercomputers) සහ Cloud Servers වලින් 90%කට වඩා දුවන්නේ Linux Operating System එක මතයි. හැබැයි 2026 මේ උදාවුණේ Linux පරිශීලකයින්ට එතරම් හොඳ කාලයක් නෙමෙයි. "Copy Fail" කියන නමින් හැඳින්වෙන අලුත්ම Zero-day ප්‍රහාරය නිසා ලෝකයම දැන් කලබල වෙලා! ​🔎 මොකක්ද මේ "Copy Fail" කියන්නේ? ​මේක Linux Kernel එක ඇතුළේ 2017 ඉඳන් හැංගිලා තිබුණ Logic Error එකක්. මේක කොච්චර සරලද කියනවා නම්, Bytes 732ක විතර පුංචි Python Script එකකින් ඕනෑම සාමාන්‍ය පරිශීලකයෙකුට පරිගණකයේ සම්පූර්ණ බලය (Root access) ලබාගන්න පුළුවන්. 🔹​මේක හරියට බැංකුවක සාමාන්‍ය සේවකයෙක්ට බැංකුවේ ප්‍රධාන සේප්පුවේ යතුර අහඹු විදියට ලැබෙනවා වගේ වැඩක්. 🔹​එහෙම නැත්තම් හරියට Discord එකේ 'Admin' බලතල නැති සාමාන්‍ය කෙනෙක්ට එකපාරටම මුළු Server එකම Delete කරන්න බලය ලැබෙනවා වගේ "God mode" එකක්. මේක හොයාගත්තේ කොහොමද? (The AI Detective) ​මිනිස් ඇසට අහුවෙන්න තිබුණ සම්භාවිතාව හරිම අඩු මේ දෝෂය Xint (Theori Research) පර්යේෂකයන් හොයාගත්තේ හරිම අපූරු විදියකටයි. ​ පර්යේෂකයන්ට සැකයක් ඇතිවුණා Linux Kernel එකේ වේගය වැඩි කරන්න 2017 දී හඳුන්වා දුන් "In-place optimization" නම් Update එකක් ගැන. ඒ සැකය තහවුරු කරගන්න ඔවුන්ට උදව් වුණේ AI තාක්ෂණයයි. ඔවුන්ගේ අභ්‍යන්තර AI මෙවලමක් (Internal AI tool) යොදාගෙන මුළු Linux Kernel එකේම Code එක Scan කළා. පුදුම හිතෙන දේ තමයි, මේ විදියට AI උදව්වෙන් ඒ භයානක දෝෂය තියෙන තැන හරියටම අල්ලගන්න ඔවුන්ට ගතවුණේ එක පැයක් (1 Hour) වැනි සුළු කාලයක් විතරයි! ​හැකර් කෙනෙක් ඇත්තටම කරන්නේ මොකක්ද? (The Exploit) ​මේකේ "ටෙක්නිකල්" පැත්ත හරිම පුදුම සහගතයි. හැකර් කෙනෙක් මේ පියවර ටික ඉතාම ඉක්මනින් සිදු කරනවා, හැකර් මුලින්ම Bytes 732ක පුංචි Python Script එකක් දුවවනවා. මේක ලෝකයේ ඕනෑම Linux Version එකකට එක වගේ වැඩ කරනවා. මේ Script එක මඟින් Linux වල තියෙන Crypto System එක රවටලා, පරිගණකයේ තාවකාලික මතකයේ (RAM) තියෙන "Root Password" එක ඉල්ලන එක Program එකකට (උදාහරණයක් ලෙස /usr/bin/su) Byets 4ක පුංචි වෙනසක් කරනවා. සාමාන්‍ය Hack කිරීම් වලදී "වාසනාව" බලපාන වෙලාවල් (Race conditions) තියෙනවා, හැබැයි මේ "Copy Fail" එක 100% ක්ම හැමවෙලේම සාර්ථක වෙනවා. මේ මුළු ක්‍රියාවලියම වෙන්නේ RAM එක ඇතුළේ නිසා, පරිගණකය Restart කරපු ගමන් හැම සාක්ෂියක්ම මැකී යනවා. කිසිම Forensic වාර්තාවක මේක සටහන් වෙන්නේ නැහැ! ​⚠️ මේක මෙච්චර භයානක ඇයි? ​තියෙන දරුණුම දේ තමයි මේ ප්‍රහාරය සිදු කළාට පස්සේ Hard disk එකේ තියෙන Files වල කිසිම වෙනසක් වෙන්නේ නැති එක. වෙනස සිද්ධ වෙන්නේ පරිගණකයේ තාවකාලික මතකය (RAM) තුළ පමණයි. ඒ නිසා සාමාන්‍ය Antivirus මෘදුකාංග වලට මේක අල්ලගන්න එක හරිම අමාරුයි. ​මූලිකම අවදානම්: 🔹​Container Escape: ඔබ Docker හෝ Kubernetes පාවිච්චි කරනවා නම්, එක් Container එකක් හැක් වුණොත් මුළු Server එකම හැකර් අතට පත්වෙන්න පුළුවන්. 🔹​AI ආධාරය: පර්යේෂකයන් පවසන විදියට මේක සොයාගන්න AI තාක්ෂණය උදව් වෙලා තියෙනවා. ඒ කියන්නේ ඉදිරියට මෙවැනි දෝෂ හැකර්වරුන්ටත් AI හරහා ලෙහෙසියෙන් සොයාගන්න පුළුවන්. මේකෙන් බේරෙන්නේ කොහොමද? ​ඔබ Linux පාවිච්චි කරනවා නම්, 🔹Kernel Update - වහාම Linux 7.0 හෝ 6.19.12 වැනි අලුත්ම සංස්කරණ වලට Update කරන්න. Temporary Patch Patch එකක් එනකම් algif_aead කියන module එක disable කරලා තියන්න. 🔹Cloud Check - ඔබ Cloud සේවාවන් පාවිච්චි කරනවා නම් ඔබේ Provider ඒ ගැන දැනුවත් දැයි බලන්න. අවසාන අදහස ​"මම Linux පාවිච්චි කරන්නේ නැහැ කියලා" සමහර අය හිතන්න පුළුවන්. හැබැයි ඔබ පාවිච්චි කරන Facebook, WhatsApp සහ Bank Apps ඔක්කොම දුවන්නේ Linux සර්වර් මතයි. ඒ නිසා මේ "Copy Fail" කියන්නේ මුළු ඩිජිටල් ලෝකයටම බලපාන බැරෑරුම් තත්ත්වයක්. තාක්ෂණය දියුණු වෙද්දී, ඒ වගේම අපේ අවධානයත් දියුණු කරගමු!
