Classmates to be Indian Army, Navy chiefs for first time in military history
Army Chief Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi and Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi studied together in Class 5 during the 1970s at Sainik School in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa.
While Admiral Tripathi took over the command of the Indian Navy on May 1, Lieutenant General Dwivedi will take charge as the Army chief on June 30.
