TikTok has to be one of the most censored platforms on earth. 💯 But I don’t think this is just about TikTok. It feels like part of a much bigger global push across social media platforms, even platforms like Telegram-to restrict, suppress or limit the reach of information that challenges the mainstream narrative. The real issue is who gets to decide what information people are allowed to see. Control the platforms, control the algorithms, control the reach of information and ultimately, you can influence what people are exposed to and what they believe. And this is why I think we need to look very closely at things like the under-16 social media restrictions. On the surface, we are told it is about protecting children, but that is the excuse and the foundation for something much bigger, digital ID being required to access the internet or prove everyone’s age? You see, once the infrastructure exists, it can always be expanded. That’s the part that should concern everyone. 👀

In the age of AI, creating something like this would be incredibly easy. But a fake video doesn’t automatically mean the idea itself is impossible. My gut says this is probably AI or edited footage, but after everything we’ve witnessed over the last seven years, I’m certainly not saying anything is impossible. 😂 What do you think — fake, genuine, or somewhere in between?
