TOOL – 10,000 Days
Eighteen years ago today, Tool released their profoundly introspective album "10,000 Days"!
Exploring themes of loss, redemption, and transcendence, "10,000 Days" is a sonic journey that delves into the depths of human emotion and spiritual awakening. Every track on this album is a profound exploration of the human experience.
The album is a tribute to lead singer Maynard James Keenan's mother, who was paralyzed for 27 years before passing away. Songs like "Wings for Marie (Pt 1) / 10,000 Days (Wings Pt 2)" reflect this deeply personal journey, expressing both grief and a search for meaning.
Let's celebrate this masterpiece today by reflecting on its thematic depth and the profound impact it has had on listeners around the world.
Happy 18th anniversary to "10,000 Days"!
