Hey there everyone.. as most of members in this group have given NEET PG 2024 & are going in for counseling.. Here are few of my observations i felt to share.. 1st of all.. Choose your branch according to your interest ! Very necessary.. Because, if you do what you like.. you've mindset & mental strength to tackle other sh!tty stuff like toxicity & long learning curve.. Next is.. What if you don't get your dream branch, but you are not willing to go for repeat ? If you don't feel to go for repeat, never go for repeat ! It's your inner voice & self motivation that'll help you through the process till upcoming neet pg ! So what to do ? here's some tips.. If you're into surgical side & you aren't getting surgery.. you can go for MS/DNB ENT ! After that you can prepare for MCh Neurosurgery or Mch Head n Neck or Mch plastic-reconstructive surgery or Mch Surgical oncology ! If you're into non-surgical but clinical side, but not getting MD general medicine.. You can go for MD respiratory medicine & then go for DM Cardiology or DM pulmonary med or DM critical care med or DM infectious diseases.. If you're not getting any clinical branch and wanna go for non-clinical & later on shift to clinical.. go for Biochem => DM clinical hematology go for micro => DM infectious med go for patho => DM clinical hematology or DM onco-pathology

*How to Choose Your PG Branch* Once upon a time, a teacher took three biscuits of the same company and quality and painted them red, blue, and green. He told his students to run a 100-meter race, and the first three students would receive one biscuit each as a prize. His students ran the race, and the teacher asked the first-place student to choose a biscuit. He chose red because he liked the color. The second-place student chose blue because he liked that color, and the third-place student was left with green. The teacher organized the race again the following year with similarly colored biscuits. The first student chose red, knowing that the previous year's first-place student had chosen red. The second student chose blue, as the previous year's second-place student had done, leaving green for the third-place student. This race became an annual tradition, even continuing after the teacher's passing. Every year, the first student chose red, the second chose blue, and the third chose green, regardless of their individual preferences. As time passed, people began to believe that red biscuits were the best, blue biscuits were mediocre, and green biscuits were the worst. However, all the biscuits tasted the same. Can you guess what the colored biscuits represent? The red one represents Radiology, the blue one represents other clinical branches, and the green one represents para-clinical and non-clinical branches. *Moral of the story: Choose your branch based on your skills and liking. Interestingly, every year, 10% of MBBS doctors leave their DNB seats after 3-6 months, and 2-5% leave their MD/MS seats. So, choose your branch and college wisely.* Very true..
