Solastalgia, as a theoretical framework, describes how people deal with the trauma of environmental degradation and the societal shifts that come along with it. Developed by philosopher Glenn Albrecht in 2005, it indicates « a homesickness, at home», when the environment around us is no longer the one we grew up in. Extractive industries for mass agriculture, mining, hydropower or land development have totally altered landscapes within the span of two to three generations. Rather than longing for a past or distant object, as per its parent term nostalgia, solastalgia longs for solace in these familiar landscapes, that have become hostile to us. Albrecht (2005) describes how solastalgic stress in indigenous communities can explain the high rates of mental illness, suicide and addictive behaviours. The rapid transformation of a landscape disorients indigenous life, which have developed long-durée epistemologies and livelihood practices for existing there.

Uchrashuv davomida tashkilotning 2016–2026-yillar oralig‘idagi faoliyati sarhisob qilinib, Orolbo‘yi hududida amalga oshirilgan loyihalar, erishilgan natijalar va kelgusidagi rejalar muhokama qilindi. Tadbir doirasida ekologik va jamoatchilik tashabbuslari bo‘yicha ma’ruzalar tinglanib, fuqarolik jamiyati institutlari o‘rtasidagi hamkorlikni yanada rivojlantirish masalalariga alohida e’tibor qaratildi. Mazkur uchrashuvda “Ekolog” jamoat birlashmasi Matbuot kotibi Feruzbek Sayfullayev ham ishtirok etdi. U ekologik madaniyatni oshirish, yoshlarni tabiatni muhofaza qilish faoliyatiga kengroq jalb etish hamda ekologik muammolarni ommaviy axborot vositalari orqali yoritishning ahamiyati haqida fikr bildirdi. Tadbir ishtirokchilari WARCning o‘tgan o‘n yillikdagi faoliyatini yuqori baholab, kelgusida ekologik muammolarni hal etish, ko‘ngillilik harakatlarini qo‘llab-quvvatlash va Orolbo‘yi mintaqasida barqaror rivojlanishni ta’minlash yo‘lidagi hamkorlikni davom ettirishga tayyor ekanliklarini ta’kidladilar. “Birgalikdagi o‘n yillik — va oldindagi yillar sari” shiori ostida o‘tgan uchrashuv ekologik hamjamiyat vakillarini birlashtirgan muhim muloqot maydoniga aylandi. ☘️ Ekologiyaga oid so‘nggi yangiliklarni @ekologuz sahifamizda kuzatib boring.
