The Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative (HUFPI) invites you to apply to the 2024 Harvard Undergraduate International Relations Scholars Program (HUIRSP), taking place June 2nd - June 5th, 2024. This annual program offers you the firsthand experience of engaging with and learning from world-class leaders, diplomats, and career service members. In a cohort of young student-leaders, you will receive mentorship from experts in the global affairs field, conduct policy research, and present your findings to Harvard professors. The cost of the program for admitted students is valued at $700 (USD) and a reduced $500 (USD) for early applicants. The cost for late applicants is $800 (USD). Low-income students are eligible for financial assistance on a case-by-case basis. The priority deadline is April 19, 2024. Республиканский этап Brain Bee 2024 Об олимпиаде: National Brain Bee - это соревнование среди учеников средних учебных заведений (9-11(12) классов). Соревнующиеся будут проверяться на знание нейробиологии, решения биологических проблем и лабораторных навыков, а также на проявления креативности и критического мышления. Язык проведения: английский Олимпиада состоит из двух туров: Первый тур - диагностика пациента. Видеозаписи пациентов будут показаны вместе с письменной историей болезни. Участники могут запросить результаты двух лабораторных или визуализационных исследований, чтобы помочь в диагностике. Второй тур - теоретический. Часть А включает в себя тест из 40-60 вопросов с одним ответом. Некоторые вопросы будут включать данные и графический анализ и рассуждения. Часть В - ученики должны назвать названия и основные функции человеческого мозга и нейрогистологических срезов. Вдобавок к самой олимпиаде, будут проводиться интересные академические и научные семинары! Место и дата проведения: Олимпиада будет проходить 3-5 мая на базе школы "SPECTRUM" в городе Астана. Участники будут проживать в общежитии EdLight.
