Dang, this is wild! I tried out Google AI Studio's real-time stream, and it’s like you’re actually talking to someone in real life. You can share your screen, ask it stuff, and it just helps you out. It’s basically a Zoom call with a genius. I opened up a codebase I wanted to contribute to, and it literally guided me through it. You can even interrupt it like you’re chatting with a real person. This is exactly how I wanna use AI! 🙆‍♂️ (Heads up, tho, Google uses your shared screen data and interactions to train their models and probably for ads.) @selfmadecoder

Hey everyone, I made a small project for practicing Amharic touch typing—a simple clone of keybr.com built with Elm and Laravel. It’s nothing fancy, but it might be useful if you’re learning to type in Amharic. You can check it out here: https://fetan.mesnoy.com Let me know if you find it helpful or have any feedback!

What a wild time, huh? A side project ( idt it's side project personally )crushing the stock of most big-name US tech giants. NVIDIA, Meta, Microsoft, AMD 📉 @selfmadecoder"

When I found out about CVA (Class Variance Authority), a utility that helps you define variants, defaults, and conditional styles when building your own design system. Bruh, I’ve been doing this manually the whole time 🤦‍♂️... Better late than never, right? ✌️😊 @selfmadecoder

What open-source repo should I contribute to? I think I can make time, like maybe one day a week, to sit down and contribute to some open-source projects. It’d be cool if it’s a company-backed one tho (like a product or something). 😁 @selfmadecoder

Repost from Natyiu
The point of this post is to avoid creating another conspiracy and focus on research. If we find a well-supported answer, great. But it’s hard for me to believe without solid info. He was one of my inspirations growing up, but trying to research isn’t a bad thing—research has never been a bad thing. @natyiu0

we have got one information ... if you have something to share please share @selfmadecoder

I've heard the story of Doctor Kitaw Ejigu working with NASA and being killed by the U.S. government was a scam. I came across it a while ago but didn't bother to verify it. Now that the topic has come up again, I got curious and decided to do some research. I couldn't find any credible information confirming that he was a NASA scientist, except on Wikipedia and a website called 'Famous People.' Does anyone have any conspiracy theories, claims, or insights to share? lets do research in public esti 😁 @selfmadecoder

Someone give me the admin of code night and I'll fix this 😁... @selfmadecoder

If DeepSeek's AI models are as good as OpenAI's GPT-4 or even GPT-4-turbo, then does this imply one of the following? - NVIDIA is supplying high-end GPUs to Chinese companies (which might not be possible due to export restrictions). - China has developed GPUs that are as powerful as NVIDIA's. - They have found a way to achieve similar performance with lower compute requirements. @selfmadecoder

I'm honestly kinda worried about landing pages these days. It’s getting really hard to figure out what a company actually does just by looking at them—even though that’s supposed to be the whole point. Feels like we’re trading simplicity and functionality for fancy, over-the-top designs. Take the hero section, for example—half the time, it’s some random phrase that has nothing to do with the company, like ‘pushing the world one step to the highs’ for a web analytics tool... wild 😁. And don’t even get me started on those super flashy, user-unfriendly designs packed with charts and graphs everywhere. wdt?? @selfmadecoder

I've come to understand the difference between a Build System Orchestrator and Monorepo Frameworks. A Build System Orchestrator, like Turborepo, focuses on handling multiple build tasks efficiently. It speeds up workflows by using caching and parallel execution, making things run much faster and more smoothly. On the other hand, Monorepo Frameworks are designed to manage multiple projects within a single repository. Tools like npm and Yarn (for package management) and frameworks like Nx provide features for dependency management, project structuring, and execution strategies across the repo. So, in a way, Turborepo works as a build orchestrator, enhancing these monorepo tools by adding smarter task execution and caching capabilities to boost overall efficiency. @selfmadecoder

It took me like 15 second to make DeepSeek my default LLM 😁 @selfmadecoder

Take 2 minutes to wipe down your phone screen—you’ll thank me later! Feels so fresh, right? 👌 Makes using your phone fun again 🔥. @selfmadecoder

My next side project will still focus on WebSockets. I'm planning to build an Excalidraw-like application and make it interactive, allowing two users to collaboratively control everything on the board. They will be able to see changes in real time, similar to Figma's real-time collaboration feature. @selfmadecoder

It's been about a week since I finished the project. Now, I'm working on some UI improvements. It's a simple chat app, and I was trying to implement a video call feature using WebRTC—but we'll see how it goes. @selfmadecoder
