           ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀    ׁ ₊ ୨୧ ── •• there are a million things i wish i could say to you and at this point, this is probably the only way i can do that. if i could have experienced anything like this with anyone, i'm glad it was you. you showed me how it felt to be appreciated and wanted and most of all, loved. you made sacrifices for me and stuck around when i got difficult. i know it's cliche, but you really had me at hello. i still remember the first time you texted me and how my heart was pounding while the blood rushed into my cheeks. we stayed up til 3am and continued right on with our conversation early the next morning. i got so used to starting my day with your texts that it was hard when it stopped. you gave me something worth remembering and for that, i'll always be thankful and i am here to love you throughout this life. wherever you go, i will take my love with me to give you whatever you need, whenever you need it. if it's to hold you, i will wrap you in all the stars i can gather along the way. if it's to kiss you, i will leave my lips on yours for as long as it takes to ease the day off of you. if it's to walk with you, i will protect you as if you are the light of the moon and keep you safe as you have done for me when my sky broke in-half and created two hells. if it's to sleep with you, i will give you just enough space so you can find me again. your eyes feel like the first sunset i ever saw. your hands feel like the campfire i used to sit around when everyone else went to bed. i never felt alone there. i never felt neglected. i never felt unworthy. i always had a friend in the flames, and it's surreal to feel that again by your genuine touch. i live with demons that will try and scare you off, but i feel you in my pulse. i feel you inside my ribs. i feel you in places that haven't seen daylight since i was born. my skin finally fits and my bones are no longer shy to walk around in a place where i was always a misfit for having a heart that stayed open and vulnerable on the outside of my chest. you've made me human again and happy our anniversary            ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀               ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
