Ya Allah, whenever I feel burdened by my trials, You always remind me that others face even greater challenges. For that, I am truly grateful.

Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿 We all know how special Jumaah (Friday) is in our Deen but we need reminders from time to time to recall the magnanimity of this golden day. Friday is no average day for Muslims. It has the honor of being called ‘best day of the week’ by the best person to ever exist- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. 1. Send extra selawat to Rasulullah Rasulullah ﷺ said : “The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.” 🖤 [ Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484 ] 2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi We can read: A. The first 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf B. The last 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf C. Both A and B D. Ideally, the complete Surah Al-Kahf. The Prophet said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.” [ Narrated by al-Haakim; Grade Sahih by al-Albaani ] 3. Mandi Jumaat [ Jumaah Shower ] Abu Sa’id Al-Khudr reports: I testify that Allah’s Messenger said, ‘The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained the age of puberty and also cleaning of teeth with Siwak and using perfume, if available’. [ Sahih Bukhari ] 4. Use Fragance & New Piece of Clothings. “Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer” [ Surat al-A’raf 7: 31 ] 5. Berdoa to Allah [ Send supplications to Allah ] 6. Trimming your nails Abu Hurayrah R.A. reported that ‘Five are the demonstrations of fitrah (nature/ instinct): 1. circumcision, 2. evacuating the hair underneath the navel, 3. trimming the mustache, 4. trimming the nails, and 5. culling the hair under the arms.’ 7. Make lots of Dua between Asr & Maghrib “There is a special hour on Friday, during which all prayers are accepted and answered by Allah, all Glory and Praise be to Him. This is part of the blessings that Allah has blessed this day with, over all the other days of the week. “On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant him it” – and he gestured with his hands to indicate how short that time is. [ Bukhari and Muslim ] Ibn Al-Qayyim said that this golden hour is to be found in the time after the Asr prayer until the Maghrib Azan (end of day): “Friday has twelve hours (or part of it). There is one hour during which if a Muslim asks Allah anything, Allah will give it to him, so find it during the last hour after Asr.” [ Abu Dawud & An-Nasai ] Let’s do the virtues of Friday together! insha allah, if you can’t do everything, it’s okayy, don’t leave everything out okayy 🤍 may Allah ease your affairs. 🕊 MD. @selfreflectionforummah

You are not a hypocrite for becoming more religious during Ramadan. We all strive to get closer to Allah, and this month motivates us to try even harder. So don’t judge someone for practicing more during Ramadan. Perhaps it is the beginning of their journey toward Him.

When your heart is hurting : • pray • sit on the prayer mat and pour your heart out until there's nothing left to share • remind yourself that it's okay to cry • close your eyes and with a firm intention say " O Allah i trust that only you can take this pain away from my heart " • and let it all go Tawakkul breaks down barriers you didn't even see coming your way

Ibn Al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said: “Dunya is like a shadow. If you try to catch it, you will never be able to do so. But if you turn your back towards it, it has no choice but to follow you.” This statement reminds us that chasing the world and its pleasures will only lead to exhaustion and disappointment. However, if we focus on Allah, seeking His pleasure and the Hereafter, the dunya will naturally come in the right measure. It is a reminder to keep our hearts attached to what truly matters — our relationship with Allah and our preparation for the next life.

Assalamuallaikum Wr Wb. Are you doing well? Alhamdulillah ala kulli haal. Here’s a reminder specifically for myself first. It is normal to face hardships that are out of our control. Sometimes we hear this, “there’s always a solution to every problem”. If we were to think about it in on a deeper level, sometimes things just happened because Allah wants it to happen and we cannot solve everything, only Allah can. Sometimes Allah just wants us to sit down, reflect and talk to Him about it. I remembered one of my teacher advised me, when she said; “When you are already too weak to do something, prostrate to Allah. It is the sign that Allah wants to help you.” Sometimes we feel like we’re doing everything, in reality, we are barely doing anything. It is all Allah. So when we are down, it’s time to recharge. Go back to Allah. Another teacher of mine said, “Whenever you think Allah forgets you, know that the moment, the second you question about Allah and you mentioned Him, know that His help is near and He loves you.” How many of us remember Allah at times of hardships? A lot, myself first. All of us (myself specifically) always do. And that just show how much Allah loves all of us that He allowed the tongue to mention Him, even if its only during hardships. Ya Rabb~

No matter how busy life gets , always prioritise your prayers .

A small act of sedekah can make a huge difference in the lives of those in need. What we give for the sake of Allah will never be lost, it will return to us in ways beyond our imagination. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Charity does not decrease wealth.” (Muslim) So don’t hesitate to lend a helping hand. Every contribution, big or small, counts! 🩷

Sayyidatuna Khadijah, the wife of Rasulullah SAW Imam Ibn Ishaq said: The Messenger of Allah never heard anything hurtful or any denial of him except that it made him sad. However, Allah removed his sadness through Khadijah. Whenever he returned to her, Khadijah would comfort him, lighten his burden, and affirm him, until she finally passed away. The virtues and status of Khadijah are countless because she was the first person to embrace Islam absolutely, preceding all creation in true faith. She was also the most virtuous mother of the believers.

Who He removes, were removed for a reason. They might've brought more harm to you the longer they stayed. He knows best. And maybe the best, was for them to lose you. 🎀

What can lighten the burden of your trials is knowing that it is Allah who tests you, not anyone else. He is the one who has decreed even the bitterest of fates, just as He is the one who has always surrounded you with His beautiful blessings. If you have spent your days enjoying His mercy in times of ease, then be certain that even the hardships you face come from His love, not from injustice or neglect. Allah never burdens a soul beyond what it can bear, and every trial He sends carries wisdom far greater than we can comprehend. So do not fear or worry, for the One who tests you is the same One who has always provided for you.
