"I was told if I dont wear hijab properly, I should just take it off"
"Taking off my hijab made me feel so much closer to Allah"
No.
The closest you are to Allah is when you are in sujud, and when you are in sujud, you are in the state of hijab.
No, I am not criticizing anyone who is struggling with wearing the hijab, but lately I've been seeing a lot of people saying they feel closer to Allah when they aren't carrying out their obligations. We all struggle, we all fall, but when we do, we shouldn't justify doing the wrong things even if we think its for the right reason. Just because it makes you feel better, it does not mean it is right.
To all my struggling hijabis and future hijabis, it is okay. Struggle, for every struggle you face with putting on the hijab will be rewarded, but please dont have the misconception that you dont have to try at all and that not covering at all is better than incorrect covering.
To anyone who asks you to take it off, ignore them ! Listen to those who encourage you to keep trying !!
May Allah make it easy for us because Wallahi no one understands the struggle of wearing hijab today but us.
-Sincerely from a struggling Hijabi

macam mana nak pastikan yang kita ni taat pada pasangan kita?

Allah is already working on what you've been praying for.
Even when you can't see the movement, there is mercy in action.
He's arranging hearts. Opening paths. Delaying what could've harmed you & storing what's best until the time is just right.
Tawakkul means trusting not just the result... but also the wait.

As we draw closer to the blessed month of Rabi‘ul Awwal, let us not wait until it arrives to awaken our hearts. The month of Rabi‘ul Awwal is not just another month in the calendar — it is the month in which the light of mercy was sent to this world, the month our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was born. In his birth, the earth was honored, and in his presence, hearts were healed. He ﷺ is the one who cried for his Ummah, who prayed for us in the depths of the night, who carried nothing in his heart but mercy. As Rabi‘ul Awwal arrives, our hearts cannot help but overflow with gratitude and longing — gratitude that Allah chose us to be from the Ummah of His Beloved, and longing to be near him, to see his radiant smile, to drink from his blessed hand at the Hawd on the Day of Judgment. let us begin polishing our souls, purifying our intentions, and preparing a place in our hearts for the Beloved of Allah ﷺ. Let this be a journey of love, where every salawat we recite is a knock upon the door of his mercy, and every step we take in following his Sunnah is a bridge bringing us closer to him. For how can we claim to love him if our hearts remain heedless of his example? How can we yearn for his companionship in the hereafter if we neglect his path in this world? Oh, how we long to be with him ﷺ… to walk beside him, to sit in his company, to hear his gentle voice reciting the words of Allah. Until that day comes, let our love be proven not only in words, but in deeds — in living his Sunnah, spreading his mercy, and striving to be the people he would recognize and embrace at the gates of Paradise. Let us start today, nurturing that love, feeding it with remembrance, and living by the character he ﷺ embodied. Then, when the month of his birth arrives, our hearts will already be overflowing with light, ready to welcome him with sincerity, gratitude, and hope of reunion at the Hawd. This Rabi‘ul Awwal, let our salawat rise from our tongues, let his seerah fill our hearts, and let our yearning for him draw us closer to Allah, the One who sent him as Rahmatan lil-‘Alamin — a mercy to all the worlds. O Allah, fill our hearts with the love of Your Prophet ﷺ. Grant us the ability to follow his Sunnah in truth, and unite us with him in the Highest Paradise without reckoning and without punishment. O Allah, make us among those who arrive at his Hawd and drink from his blessed hand, a drink after which we will never feel thirst again.

If the journey of this dunya was easy, sabr would not be one of the doors to Jannah.

Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿
We all know how special Jumaah (Friday) is in our Deen but we need reminders from time to time to recall the magnanimity of this golden day.
Friday is no average day for Muslims. It has the honor of being called ‘best day of the week’ by the best person to ever exist- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
1. Send extra selawat to Rasulullah
Rasulullah ﷺ said :
“The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.” 🖤 [ Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484 ]
2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi
We can read:
A. The first 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf
B. The last 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf
C. Both A and B
D. Ideally, the complete Surah Al-Kahf.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.” [ Narrated by al-Haakim; Grade Sahih by al-Albaani ]
3. Mandi Jumaat [ Jumaah Shower ]
Abu Sa’id Al-Khudr reports: I testify that Allah’s Messenger said, ‘The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained the age of puberty and also cleaning of teeth with Siwak and using perfume, if available’. [ Sahih Bukhari ]
4. Use Fragance & New Piece of Clothings.
“Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer” [ Surat al-A’raf 7: 31 ]
5. Berdoa to Allah [ Send supplications to Allah ]
6. Trimming your nails
Abu Hurayrah R.A. reported that ‘Five are the demonstrations of fitrah (nature/ instinct): 1. circumcision, 2. evacuating the hair underneath the navel, 3. trimming the mustache, 4. trimming the nails, and 5. culling the hair under the arms.’
7. Make lots of Dua between Asr & Maghrib
“There is a special hour on Friday, during which all prayers are accepted and answered by Allah, all Glory and Praise be to Him. This is part of the blessings that Allah has blessed this day with, over all the other days of the week. “On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant him it” – and he gestured with his hands to indicate how short that time is. [ Bukhari and Muslim ]
Ibn Al-Qayyim said that this golden hour is to be found in the time after the Asr prayer until the Maghrib Azan (end of day): “Friday has twelve hours (or part of it). There is one hour during which if a Muslim asks Allah anything, Allah will give it to him, so find it during the last hour after Asr.” [ Abu Dawud & An-Nasai ]
Let’s do the virtues of Friday together! insha allah, if you can’t do everything, it’s okayy, don’t leave everything out okay.
may Allah ease your affairs. 🕊

"You are not a burden."
This dunya is heavy. Sometimes your emotions overflow. But you are never 'too much' for Allah.
He's the one who gave you that heart. Let Him hold it 🤍

"Don't let the delay make you doubt the dua."
Just because it hasn't come yet, doesn't mean it won't.
Allah heard you the first time.
He's just preparing something better than what you asked for.
"Surely Allah does not break His promise." (Qur'an 3:9)
