The idea has many layers to it obviously. The post is not an implementation plan. In your case it sounds like the question was posed to commissioners who aren’t ready to change. My post relies on finding the 50 or 100 or whatever number of counties who have commissioners and election boards who think these machines are too complicated and expensive already. I have a hard time believing that there aren’t that many or more counties out there today that would make the change if prompted by the people and given some courage. I would guess smaller rural fly over counties are your best bet. Let’s get some “easy” wins while we are trying change the entire system.

How about this for an idea....if you live in a county and you and your commissioners want to keep your machines, well, keep them (for now). If you live in a county where you AND your commissioners already don't want to keep your machines then GET RID OF THEM. Period. Let's cut to the chase folks. Maybe when the non-converts see what a real election looks like they will come around. Maybe we don't get 100% of the counties to come around but enough to put a stake in the ground that matters. Just a thought.....

Nearly 100 Liberal Organizations Have Access to Pennsylvania’s Voter Rolls | OAN Toni Shuppe @AudittheVotePA joined OAN’s Christina Bobb to review their recent discoveries about Pennsylvania’s voter rolls. Through a public records request Audit the Vote PA (ATVPA) learned that nearly 100 Democrat-funded groups outside of PA have keys to the state’s voter registration system. There’s not a single conservative organization on that list, Shuppe said. In a Telegram post last week, Shuppe asked, “How did our voter rolls in Pennsylvania become so inflated? One possible answer: 3rd party liberal organizations had Web API access.”Groups like the NAACP, AFL-CIO, Tom Wolfe for Governor, Planned Parenthood, and Twitter have the ability to register PA voters, change voter registration information, and request ‘no-excuse’ mail-in ballots. As part of their investigation into the 2020 election, the ATVPA team has started a canvassing operation. They’ve contacted approximately 10,000 homes in 20 Pennsylvania counties (500 homes per county) and have found discrepancies in 30% of the cases. They have also analyzed the state voter file and uncovered some interesting anomalies. For example on 8/29/1996, more than 130K people were registered to vote in Montgomery County, PA, which then had a population of approximately 700K. Roughly 18% of the county’s residents were registered on a single day — and more 100K of them voted in the 2020 election. In the chart above, for Period 2, there are 3623 more unique name additions to the roll than there are voter ID additions. I verified that that 15 of those include 100% different names (first, middle and last) that were assigned to a Voter ID over a two month period. This seems HIGHLY suspect and would warrant a deep dive. The remainder of this group of records you see various types of "churn" in the data of first, middle and last that don't match up between period 1 and 2. For example, someone is registered without the middle inital in December then they have it in February. In December the first name is Tim but then in February it is Timothy...stuff like that. The data integrity looks suspect to me for this group. Maybe there is a legitmate last name change due to marriage? OK, no problem. My impression is that this technique of roll analysis serves to highlight some areas of concern and could help canvassing in that regard. But, I have not used this type of analysis to direct canvasing efforts to prove out this model. I hope this is a helpful perspective.

I am very proud of my friends in New Mexico for this accomplishment. I am also proud to share that I was told EDA helped them (in a small way) achieve this goal. My friends in NM were early adopters of EDA last summer prior to me starting this channel when it was simply a research tool used by a handful of people who connected on Telegram. Thier feedback insipred me to continue to push product development forward and convinced me that a "Copy, Paste, Click" Excel tool that any Citizen Data Analyst could use was needed. Doing some QA on a new EDA product that looks at individual Voter IDs (scrambled) through time and how they might be added and removed from the roll. This is the money shot and it takes quite a bit of computation to get to this point. What is this saying? The first Voter was Deleted between period 1 to 2. Then, they were added back between period 3 to 2. Then they were Deleted again between period 3 to 4. Weird huh? So they Voted during period 3 and then were promptly removed from the roll. This may be something or it might be a big nothing burger. 31,000+ had the "delete-add-delete" pattern. 141 had the "add-delete-add-delete" pattern.

Folks, Based on the anonymous poll posted above, 93% (with 131 votes) think this is 100% Needed!! The poll with the most concensus I have conducted by far. I have been working on the algorithim for this and it has been a challenge due to some of the constraints that are self imposed. These constraints are: Skills needed are "Copy, Paste, Click", backward compatible to Excel 2006, cross platform Windows and Mac, no need for add -ins, cannot use Power Query, Power Pivot because this will exclude some of the user base, and more....some technical details. I am hoping to have this new tool (which will be stand alone) available next week. Here is what it will do. Let's say you have registration rolls from 5 different time periods: Jan20, Mar20, June20, Aug20, Nov20. Then, you want to know based on Voter ID or Full Name or Address what changed from period 1 to period 2 and then period 2 to period 3 etc. So Joe Smith's Voter ID shows up on roll 1 and roll 2 but is removed from roll 3 and is also not there on roll 4, but....for some reason..... added back just before an election on roll 5. Bingo. Why is that? Is it worth looking at? It could be a "nothing burger" (based on the rules in that state) or maybe it is a "phantom voter" YOU need to investigate further. But this will give you that list of IDs or Names that you can use with the EDA from that period to explore further. EDA is not a fraud finder, it is just a way to accelerate your investigation....now back to development.
