Furthermore, by saying this, Jerome's Latin Vulgate contradicts itself, because it first says divination is in king's lips but then says his/the king's mouth shall not err in judgment. However, divination in a king Solomon's mouth would be a grave, serious error and would twist and negatively influence Solomon's judgment, because God prohibits and commands people to NOT use divination in Deuternomy 18:10-12. Divination is when someone makes arrows bright AND consults with images/idols & looks at certain foods to unbiblically predict events See Ezekiel 21:21 KJB. ๐Ÿ’ฅIn Micah 5:2, Jerome's Latin Vulgate actually says Jesus had a beginning๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ and contradicts itself at the same time. So Jerome's Latin Vulgate just falsely claimed that Jesus had a beginning by saying Jesus' going forth is from the beginnig/eius ab initio. Also, Jerome's Latin Vulgate contradicts itself by saying "eius ab initio" (is from the beginning before saying "a diebus aeternitatis" (from the days of eternity). In Micah 5:2, Jerome's Latin Vulgate does not even know whether "et egressus" ("his [Jesus] going forth") was "is from the beginning" ("eius ab initio") or "from the days of eternity" ("a diebus aeternitatis"). ๐Ÿ’ฅIn 1 John 5:8, Jerome's Latin Vulgate omits the words "Et tres sunt qui testificantur in terra" (which translates from Latin to English as "And there are three that testify in earth") and only says "Spiritus et aqua et sanguis et tres unum sunt" ("the spirit and the water and the blood. And these three are one."). Jerome's Latin Vulgate of 405AD denies three witnesses of the spirit, water, and blood (in Latin : Spiritus et aqua et sanguis) testify IN EARTH (in Latin: "in terra") and is not specifc on where or what place the three witnesses of the spirit, water, and blood (in Latin: Spiritus et aqua et sanguis) testify in! Jerome's Latin Vulgate Exposed: Jerome's Latin Vulgate is a bad source text, and even Jerome admits he revised the Latin Vulgate and and admitted that Christians have branded him to be a forger/falsifer of the Scriptures and of making corrupt Scriptures. Even though Jerome's Latin Vulgate 1 John 2:23 (LINK) and does have Mark 16:9-20 (LINK), which goes against the modern versions' unbiblical omissions and doubts of Mark 16:9-20, there are corruptions and errors in Jerome's Latin Vulgate of 405 AD (LINK). "St. Jerome's Preface to the Vulgate Version of the New Testament Addressed to Pope Damasus, A.D. 383. You urge me to revise the old Latin version, and, as it were, to sit in judgment on the copies of the Scriptures which are now scattered throughout the whole world; and, inasmuch as they differ from one another, you would have me decide which of them agree with the Greek original. The labour is one of love, but at the same time both perilous and presumptuous; for in judging others I must be content to be judged by all; and how can I dare to change the language of the world in its hoary old age, and carry it back to the early days of its infancy? Is there a man, learned or unlearned, who will not, when he takes the volume into his hands, and perceives that what he reads does not suit his settled tastes, break out immediately into violent language, and call me a forger and a profane person for having the audacity to add anything to the ancient books, or to make any changes or corrections therein?" From the website of Jerome's Latin Vulgate https://vulgate.org In the 300sAD, a Christian scholar in northern Italy named Helvidius accused Jerome of using corrupt Greek manuscripts for his Latin Vulgate as per Jerome's own book called Against Helvidius. The only way for Helvidus to say that Jerome used corrupt Greek manuscripts, and Jerome never refuted that above claimof Helvdius, is because Helvidius had a purer form of Greek manuscripts than Jerome. In the late 300s (before Jerome moved to Bethelehem in the Middle East to make his Latin Vulgate), Jerome, for some years, lived in Rome. Helvidus lived in northern Italy, and Helvidus wrote a letter to Jerome, and Jerome replied back in his own Against Helvidius. Jerome himself said in his Latin Vulgate preface revised the Latin with his own revisions, instead of just translating what the Greek said into Latin. The Lettee of Heisalso have Jerome's own "Epistle of Jerome to Pope Damasus" where Jerome says what I just mentioned.
