My longtime girlfriend has struggled with her mental health for as long as she can remember. She is now 24, but she recalls crying hysterically and self harming as early as age 6. She’s suffered extreme bipolar, OCD, and depression/anxiety for years. Multiple suicide attempts. Every single effort from diet change, keto, elimination diet, CBD, Niacin/vitamin C megadoses, diatomaceous earth… the list goes on. I had tried every single holistic method I could with no luck. She was prescribed SSRIs and they turned her into a completely different person, completely manic and aggressive.
