This is a snippet of a message I sent to a 16 year old who I consulted. It was a little harsh but thought it'd be important, not just for him but many of us here too: Something HUGE in the space as you grow up you'll realise that many people don't keep their word. Whether is it to reply a message, payments, "homework", majority of people miss the deadlines and fail their agreements - and don't keep their commitments to others. I've struggled with it myself too. If you really want to succeed, one of the best lessons you can ever take from me is to ALWAYS keep your agreements. And if you don't, own up ACTIVELY, don't wait to get reminded before you do it. It shows lack of proactiveness & appreciation for the people who support you. So earlier when you mentioned "to do this now", it literally means to do it, say today. But when the link was sent, the agreement changed to June again. So be careful with what you promise and don't share what you can't keep bro. Your word is your bond and it reflects who you are. With that, share with me your thoughts/lessons from what I've just wrote, and let me know what's the agreement you are willing to make. Hope you take this feedback with love well bro. There is also no need to apologise, and more importantly you learn this lesson which will help you rest of your life. I guarantee you haha most 50 year olds dont try to apply this, and if you take this for yourself, you will go very far.

You can try to help the world. But that will only drain you. Especially because some only say they want to live a better life, But many don't back it up with actions. It seemed like a rite of passage for me as many of my mentors shared with me this as well...as I was always trying to help as many people as I can. But being in this space for 3+ years...I finally get it. It drains your energy to help people who don't reply, don't take action, and you've to do more chasing & reminding than to actually HELP them. And that's not fair to the people who truly want to succeed. If you want to protect your energy, help people who only want to be helped.

Cliche Advice which most folks struggle with: TBH, there is nothing wrong with saying the word "Try". But when you keep saying that for things that are actually important to you, it usually means you are unconsciously/subconsciously giving yourself more room to fail. And if you find yourself using the word "try" over & over again, it's a habit of never ever fully commiting to something. Your results. Your word. Your actions. Whether is it because you are afraid of failure, feeling lazy, or just not being used to committing to something that is actually important to you, The word try has DANGEROUS implications esp for the goals that are important to you.

Reminder to Self: Wedding is a One Time Thing. Marriage lasts forever. Many folks only look forward to the big event and plan their entire lives around it. However, why people struggle is many don't plan for the life that happens AFTER. Similar to how people attend hundreds of motivational seminars but don't do anything. Or pay thousands of dollars for a coaching program only to ghost & not reply after. Don't forget preparing for the life that comes AFTER the big & exciting events. And that's how you can really win.

Worse Statement in the world: "I can NEVER do XXXXXX" I hear this so many times: I can ONLY do my side hustle if I have the perfect business plan ready I can ONLY attend coaching calls if I've questions to ask I can NEVER have enough time to learn & invest in myself I can NEVER work on my future during work timings Once you say the word "NEVER", you instantly close yourself to possibilities. Be resourceful. Seek alternatives. Ask questions. Seek feedback. Be flexible. That's one of the main qualities I've observed about many successful & rich people, they don't take no for an answer immediately. If it's important enough, they always find what's possible and go for it. At least they wouldn't regret not trying at all.

"How do I drive more sales for my business?" Starting out, I sought help from my mentors only to get an answer I really didn't expect. SWIPE RIGHT to READ MORE > > >

A CONVERSATION BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND NAPOLEON Here's a story from the book "Outwitting The Devil" written by Napoleon himself. This book talks about success by evaluating the greatest obstacles that humans face in order to attain their personal goals in life. Here's my favorite excerpt from it!

I achieved 4 figures of Passive Income this week! Well...sort of. Over the past week, I’ve been mostly away from work to fully focus on wedding prep. But during this period, my business clocked about ~4 figures of sales, without me having to be actively around. Does this mean I’ve already achieved “passive income”? Not really. You see, the revenue was generated from the past sales I’ve did, my team efforts, memberships etc. And while I didn’t have to be actively around for the $$ to happen, there was a lot of work to setup the systems and team to get it done. And this is the main lesson. If you want TRULY passive income, you can either just invest in dividend stocks, property etc, which you’ll still need to review regularly…but you will need a TON of cash to have that passive income cover most of your dream expenses, and you’ll still need to review it regularly anyway. In business, you’ll probably need to work hard for YEARS until you can set it up properly. Today, I still see entrepreneurs from 6-9 figures who are still working actively on the business. And what’s the lesson learnt for most of us? 1. Be ok to trade time for money first, but continue upgrade yourself to attain high income skills so you can make WAY more than average. Slowly but surely, invest in the markets/assets to attain the passive income you are looking for, but prepare your downside (most people didn’t in 2022) But my favourite tip is… Find something worth doing that gets you paid WHILE enjoying it too! It will take time but once you find it, you can’t help but do it well, get better, and you enjoy the entire journey along the way. This is why I am writing this even one day before my wedding 😂😂 Anw if y’all need more help or tactical resources/tips etc, just react to this post and I’ll share even more too :) Enjoy! P.S. last call for our program where you’ll only pay if you get results - where we build your entire business that will be profitable & enjoyable (aka 6 figures) or it will be completely free for you. If you are interested, click here and I'll share with you more details after my wedding! :) https://calendly.com/marcteo/personalcall

“What should I do to get more sales?” The answer my $30,000 mentor shared stunned me. Should it be conducting workshops? FB group challenge? 1-1 direct? Webinars? His answer: “whatever works best for YOU.” Truth is; there are thousands of ways to succeed in business / side hustle. The problem isn’t trying to find out how to do it (easily solved), but identifying what has the best chance of succeeding for YOU. Your strengths. Weaknesses. Preferences. Likes. Dislikes. Expeiences. Sometimes it takes some trial & error aka time as you need data to gain clarity, but once you find out what works for you, DOUBLE AND TRIPLE DOWN ON IT. And that’s when the results will just come.

Sometimes it’s ok to take a break. As it’s my wedding this Friday/Saturday, have been focused on prep, running errands etc. In the past, I’d have been extremely concerned and anxious thinking about work and running the biz. Now, I realise that i had that crazy belief because I had an “ideal” from others that I had to move as fast as possible, that taking breaks are wrong, and if I do that, I’ll not be able to succeed. Today I understand that I am running my OWN journey and I can always choose to prioritise other areas of my life besides working on my mission all the time Aka my relationship. Life’s good.

Have you ever found yourself searching for the key to success, trying out various strategies and tactics, yet feeling like something is missing? From personal experience, I've learned that people often define themselves based on past experiences, carrying that identity forward unknowingly. But achieving greatness requires shedding negative self-perception and embracing a positive identity. As we make positive choices, our identity evolves, shaping our entire life. So, how do you define yourself? Changing your identity has the power to transform everything. WATCH HERE

$10,000 Lesson Having a strong belief doesn't mean having to jump up & having high energy all the time. Having a strong belief can be the same amount of energy of knowing something for a fact, such as "I need water to live" - you don't need to be jumping up & down to belief that right? Used NLP to manage my own beliefs on whether I'd be able to make 7 figures such that I know for a fact it will eventually happen to me. In the past anytime I had low energy, was feeling down etc, I stopped having that belief and it affected my actions. Now it's a constant throughout my entire life, and it has guided me to become so much more productive & grounded despite the ups & downs. No more second guessing, self doubt or overthinking on whether "I can achieve it". That's just a small little sample of the power of mindset work, and why we are so passionate about adding this for our clients. Some of our best results came not just from equipping clients with systems & 10X strategies to skyrocket their income, but working on their inner game for massive transformation too. P.S. I did pay $10,000 to learn from the above, aka from legendary 8 figure entrepreneur & NLP coach of >25 years Stuart Tan

Mondays got you down? If the mere thought of waking up on a Monday sends shivers down your spine, it's time to face the truth. We've got some serious reflecting to do. Let me be clear: there's no magical switch that will suddenly make you leap out of bed, eager to conquer the workweek. No, you must seize control and intentionally create the reality you desire :) WATCH HERE

Private convo with a 7 figure entrepreneur on his biggest mistake Huge lesson here folks, no matter which stage you are at. When you are starting out, don’t do things that seem smart on the surface but don’t really bring you results. Watching YouTube. Checking social media. Perfecting product. Editing your content multiple times. Logistics and backend. Overthinking about aesthetics of product. Just focus on activities that actually bring you SALES & INCOME. DMs. Creating products Content - writing / live videos / stories with CTAs etc Engaging via comments More DMs Conducting more talks & workshops, Partnerships. 1-1s In short, the more rejections = more income Don’t avoid doing what’s necessary. This applies all the way till multiple 6 figures and above. Never ever think you are underneath sales if you are looking to grow your own business or side hustle. It’s tempting to think otherwise - I made the same mistake too!

If you aren’t looking forward to waking up Mondays…. It’s something important to be reflecting on. If you are reading this, you probably have years worth of your career ahead of you. You don’t “magically” start looking forward to your work. You have got to intentionally create that reality for yourself. P.S. bundle of resources coming….stay tuned :)

Unpopular Truth: There are some amazing coaches/mentors who are WORLD class at what they do, but most people will never be able to achieve the results they are looking for with them. This is not because these coaches/mentors do not deliver what they are promised, but simply because what most people need is not only theory & information. i had a client attend a 2.5 hour call WEEKLY on building funnels/systems etc with a world class coach who charges up to USD30,000, but she could never succeed because she was just receiving more information every single week What she needed was more direct feedback, mindset support, and personalised answers to her questions so she knew exactly what she needed, instead of calls where 200-300 people attended each time. In a few weeks, her results skyrocketed after gaining extreme clarity of what she needed to focus on When you're starting out, don't just rely on mass info etc. They can only help so much. Especially if you are new, the best thing to do is to gain direct feedback, support, & clarity over your exact direction.

Most important the top tech investors look at when investing 6-7 figures in a startup…. Is always the founder(s) instead of the product. They look at character traits. Past experience. Level of diligence & intelligence. Because a less than great product executed well can still make millions. A great product executed by someone who is overthinking, procrastinating, don’t have work ethic will never do well. And as my mentor taught me… The internal will always reflect the external. I paid $30,000 to learn that and it has guided me all these years.

Happy Sunday! Here’s what Master Implementers has been up to this week: 1. Last Week, I Learnt this Lesson I'll never Forget for the Rest of my Life Since Monday, I probably had >35 hours worth of meetings & coaching calls alone, and that excludes the time to create content, build playbooks, & strategise what's ahead for my clients & the community. That happened because while we were initially completely booked out for our 1-1 strategy sessions, I decided to extend our slots as possible as the priority for next week is to prepare for the Big Day (hahah) And while part of me feels a lil like a walking zombie now, here's why I am more than happy to do it all over again: I know my Why. Find out more about it here: https://www.facebook.com/MarcTeoo/posts/pfbid0vjgbHi2HLVtpUqtNKC6Q1X57eNKSGwf4MHkjrSemszxsLZkgAAonkwHGjWhNUZ97l 2. THE UNDERRATED ART OF ASKING I owe a lot of my success to my mentors who has pushed me to envision my goals and aspirations better. One important takeaway I had over the years was this: Narrowing our inquiries, whether in business, personal growth, or finding life's purpose, opens doors to game-changing insights and practical solutions. The example I show above is just one of the many ways you can apply this to your life. Find out more about it here: https://www.facebook.com/MarcTeoo/posts/pfbid02LXLLpmx3bDEC8xTVWAK6swQC2RnUxPXhqvbDSXxYLorXW8PWzzaNW5Sv1PELAUxzl 3. I don't bother making my bed and I'm still productive. I recently stumbled upon the book, "Make Your Bed" by Admiral William H. McRaven and yes, it has awesome pointers on developing daily habits and living your best life! But what really came to my mind when I was just reading the cover is how most gurus would tell you to make your bed first thing in the morning in order to be productive. Is this true? Maybe for some. Personally though, I've never attached the idea of making my bed as a start of a productive day. In the end, the most important thing is to find the habits and practices that work best for you and your unique situation. Whether that means making your bed, exercising in the morning, or something else entirely, the key is to find what works for you and stick with it. So, while making your bed may be a helpful habit for some, it's not the only path to productivity, and certainly not a requirement:) Watch and listen to it here: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=258745483380795 Alright, that's it for now. Thanks for sharing this incredible week with us. Expect even more inspiration and insights to come next week. To Your Success, Marc Teo #masterimplementers P.S. Quality of meetups > Quantity of meetups Majority of people judge how close they are to someone based on how often they meet. If that's the case, everyone's best friends would be their colleagues. Instead, focus on the quality of your meetups instead - what do yall actually do? Are yall going deep? Encouraging one another? Supporting one another? Challenging one another? If yall are just meeting to whine, complain, or bitching about others all the time... And esp if growth & fulfilment in life is important to you, You might want to consider making a change too.
