Many months ago, the owners of this channel came across a shocking and enlightening set of documentaries. They felt the urge to put together a support group on a platform more stable and dependable than youtube – which eventually flushed the source's entire channel, without warning. They named it, of course, after the documentary producer, so it could easily be found by all other similar enthusiasts. An open invitation was publicly and privately extended; he could just jump in and take ownership of this channel, any time he liked. He never accepted the offer, even when to the point of announcing in passing his intent to start one of his own on Telegram. Time went by. The group grew by the thousand. Moderators came in to assist with the burdens created out of the popularity of the channel. A team developed. So many people willing to donate their time and effort to spreading the word. Soon, the team was turning out more than a dozen additional languages' worth of his documentaries. From the beginning, he has expressed general gratitude toward all those who re uploaded his work, to all who translated it, etc., with no expressed conditions nor claim of copyright – because it was all published under 'fair use'. But now, he has 'changed his mind'. And given some people zero notice as to that fact. He filed DMCA claims against his supporters. He slandered one of our moderators. Greed and ego have killed his ability to think at all rationally. This video was kept intentionally short. No frames were wasted. And, in the effort to keep it short, a few issues didn't fit into a 7 1/2 minute edit. This video only covers the most egregious offenses most recently committed. We anticipate that he will not respond with any further hostility – and that this will be our last statement of any kind regarding this documentary producer and his material. We thank you all for your support.
