‼️UPDATE‼️ The name of the Polish soldier, killed on the border with #Belarus, has become known The soldier's name was Mateusz Sitek, he was only 21 years old. Matewusz was a private of the 1st Warsaw Tank Brigade. His farewell will be held on June 12, reported in the brigade. By decision of the Defense Minister of #Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Mateusz Sitek was posthumously promoted to the rank of senior sergeant and awarded the gold medal "For Services in the Defense of the Country." Mateusz Sitek was stabbed last week, when he stopped the attempt of a group of migrants to break through from the #Belarus|ian side. He was stabbed by one of the migrants. ☠️Yesterday the Week of Remembrance in the Russian Volunteer Corps came to an end. During these days we remember our fallen comrades-in-arms, visit their graves and relatives. The final day - the Day of the Fallen - is a bright conclusion of these, in fact, mournful days. On this day, all Corps members, along with recruits and new recruits, gather around a large memorial bonfire. We make speeches about everyone we have lost along the path of the fight, for all these heroes did not die in vain! All of them brought us one step closer to Victory, united and hardened us and gave us one more reason to continue our struggle! We remembered everyone by name and loudly shouted “IN CROSS!” because even having finished their worldly way and having left their bodily shells, our comrades-in-arms remain with us! Forever in the RDK! Forever in the ranks!
