The Last Man Revival

Like baby birds awaiting their next meal, our mouths are gaping receptacles for aerial leaflets to be received.

Years of non-stop misinformation and psychological warfare have eroded the conventions of modern man and twisted reality into such hideous shapes that the face of truth can no longer be recognized by most. Reality has been promoted to the rank of imposter and replaced by unreality. It's an aberration rampaging through the byways of people's minds and directing them on a collision course with mass delusion and insanity, creating a resonance loop that negates any negative feedback. The only things that are tenable anymore are base feelings and the instant gratification of intoxication. You'd find more substance bouncing a heroin needle in your arm or in random acts of violence than you ever would if you relegated your efforts to combing through the catacombs of truth. They're closed to you.

Compliance is death, but saints live forever.

If you repeatedly conflate people's anger and dissatisfaction with hatred you'll learn what the latter means.

Every man fears the enduring hands of time, especially those who kill themselves. Those who have become so impatient with life that they've convinced themselves they're ready to confront the court of death by willing their own demise are enacting a form of therapy so they may face their worst fears head-on and cope eternally with the grave. Saying that you don't fear death is no different than dying, for you die a little more each time you speak those words.

The future will be dominated from the ground up only by the most ruthless among us. We will abandon the gold standard as a medium of exchange and instead elect a leaderboard style economy where the dollar sign will be replaced by a depiction of a human skull with a bullet between its eyes. The leaders who arise from the ashes of pacifism will erect wonders from the bodies of those they've slain and we will weep in their shadow until it's our turn to be the mortar.

Remember what the Messenger of Catastrophe said. Embrace the collapse. It will cleanse you. Treat the situation as if it is already hopeless and build from there. Remember the words of Themistocles. Remember the pursuit of Mirth. Become undone so that you may not be undone.

America's living in the skeleton of a happy memory and it won't wake up.

You can spend your entire life philosophizing about all manner of things and yet change nothing. To justify your own descent into inaction by preoccupying your mind with ideas is no different than consuming any other poison that atrophies one's self. It ceases to be an exploratory practice and instead becomes an exercise in decadence, in indulgence in one's ego. Action is the only principle that rewards a man's sweat and blood with tangible results. Whether your actions led to new bricks being laid or old ones being uprooted, you can rest assured that your deeds will resonate posthumously while any ideas you held will shrink into relative obscurity.
