Two springs ago I took a maul to the giant vines suffocating this giant pine in my backyard. That summer our yard was covered in pinecones which hadn’t fallen before. This spring I had my brother come over with a chainsaw and we lopped as many more off as we could and trimmed old pappy up. At the solstice I was inspired to give him a face. I asked him to watch over us and continue to provide us with shade and pinecones my children love to play with. Get comfy with your landwights Folk.

☀️ SUN ☀️
Sunshine doesn't cause skin cancer. It's actually a lack of good fat in the skin that makes it hard for your body to absorb sun rays and turn them into vitamin D. Without enough fat, your skin burns and dries out, leading to dead cells that can build up and cause problems. People get skin cancer mostly because they don't have enough usable fat in their skin.
Don’t shower or bathe on the morning of a sunny day, instead, rub some raw coconut into your skin the night before. This helps you tan and reduces burning. People who sunburn easily found that after 1-5 months on a raw diet 🥩 🧈 with lots of raw fat, they could sunbathe without sunblock and without burning. Start with short sunbathing sessions and gradually increase the time. If you haven’t been in the sun for months, you might get a little burn at first each year.
Sunlight is great for your energy levels and eyesight 👁️. Have fun in the sun ☀️ by going to the beach ⛱️, gardening 🌺 , sports, hiking, picnicking, cycling, or doing yoga outside.
