I look like a normal 45-year-old woman but secretly I'm a psychopath who manipulates, lies and even fantasises about murder. Both Fiona Barnett and I, and many others, suffered in MK Delta military torture programming. We both survived Alice in Wonderland programming. I wrote about mine here: https://careavan.substack.com/p/meeting-malice-with-lovebut-not-idiot

Post 2 of 2 I spoke with Fiona Barnett for the second time this week. The first was in 2016 at a conference near Seattle, where we were both presenting. This week we had a more in depth conversation. We knew some abusers in common, and the talk was helpful. We have differences, and that's OK. I am always grateful when someone will talk at all. I reach out to many public whistleblower survivors and they never reply, or they delete me from their channels, or they become abusive. Lots of barriers to unity. Torture programming plus personality injuries and other issues are tough to overcome. Fiona encouraged me to read her book, part brilliantly detailed disclosure exposé and part heartbreaking memoir, part depth psychological trauma recovery education, which I've been doing. What a feat, this book, Eyes Wide Open (2020). I relate to many of the horrific atrocities she has suffered. Sick but also validation. Survivors who go public with such vulnerable information are awesomely courageous and wildly generous.
