On 1 July 2024, the US 4th Circuit Court of Appeals issued a ruling with which The League of the South (including Chief of Staff Mike Tubbs and I) disagree. Therefore, we are presently in consultation with legal counsel regarding a further appeal of the Elizabeth Sines v. Michael Hill civil appeal case. It is our determination to exhaust every possible avenue, if possible, to get justice in this case. That means we need the financial help and prayers of those of you who value your God-given rights to free speech and free assembly for people on the right. We have fought this legal David-versus-Goliath battle now for almost seven years. And we aren't prepared to quit the field as long as we have the necessary supply to continue the fight. But we are dependent upon your generous support. The left supports its front line fighters; we must be willing on the right to do the same. More information will be forthcoming on this matter soon. On this day in 1970 (54 years ago, damn!), I had the privilege of meeting and having a long talk (enhanced by some alcohol, etc.) with Duane Allman at the 2nd Annual Atlanta Rock Festival. A dream come true for a young guitar player. He left us way too soon in that bike accident in Macon, Georgia, the next year. He's still my favorite guitarist, even after all this time.
