3D Printed Pizza
Chef 3D is a new development of BeeHex 3D printers, initially developed to print food for astronauts.

Nikola Tesla's "Egg of Columbus"
As legend has it, Christopher Columbus said he could put an egg upright. When nobody believed him, he broke the egg at one end and set it. Responding to the objection that anyone could do it, Columbus replied, "Anyone can do it, but I did it".
Meanwhile, Nikola Tesla showed that an egg (or at least an egg-shaped piece of metal) could be put upright with the help of an electromagnetic field.

Why is there double pane glass in windows?
We know that heat is transferred from a hotter body to a cooler one. However, various materials show different abilities to transfer heat, or different thermal conductivities. For example, wood, glass and water have extremely low thermal conductivity.
Windows are made of two or more panes of glass bonded together to increase their thermal insulation properties. The space between the panes is filled with air, the thermal conductivity of which is 40 times lower than that of glass.
The typical "glass-air-glass" window design allows us to better keep our homes warm. In some cases, other gases with even lower thermal conductivity serve as a substitute for air in window construction.

Japanese Mathematician Kokichi Sugihara's Optical Illusion
Sugihara showed the difference between reality and its reflection in the mirror.
A variety of geometric shapes are placed in front of the mirror where we see a completely different figure in the reflection. A circle turns into a square and vice versa.

Scientists trained a group of people to use this device (while allowing them to take it home from the lab) and came to these conclusions:
- After a while, the brain perceives the extra finger as a full-fledged part of the body
- Participants learned to do many tasks with one hand that required two hands
- This is a promising research area as such "augmentations" will give surgeons or other workers the ability of doing more work with one hand!

Jet Propulsion
Jet propulsion is based on the law of conservation of momentum. It arises when a part of a body separates from it with a certain velocity.
For example, if you inflate a rubber balloon, both its speed and the wind speed are equal to zero, so the momentum becomes equal to zero as well.
If you let the balloon go without tying it up, the air will start to come out of it in one direction, and the balloon itself will fly in the opposite side.

Ubiquitous Energy – Solar Windows
American company Ubiquitous Energy has developed technology that enables you to turn any glass surface into a solar panel.
According to the new technology, a special organic coating of 0.001 mm is applied to the glass. It captures ultraviolet and infrared radiation, converting it into electricity, while the visible part of the spectrum passes quietly through.
The developers emphasize the possibility of creating a hybrid of a simple window and a solar panel, providing homes with electricity.
