Okay this thot has some thoughts. In this here vid, CGPGrey says that tech replacing labor is why horses need not apply to the transportation force. Tech influence on the economy hasn't changed behavior since industrial revolution, and definitely not since a decade after this video posting. Usually, I point out that who labors and who gains are not the same. But where does tech lead to eventually? The final outcome for tech is probably the same which is to not need labor. In that world, perhaps there's another kind of economy humans have that isn't focused on gaining more means. Of course because there's none left, but what of trade and living? That last person with all the means to create everything and to sustain humanity could just automate it all for us. Surely only art and video game is made. They could make endless discoveries and cure all disease. Do they have to care? Wouldn't it have takem ruthlessness to conquer everything? Maybe question how the last two items on earth could have been traded fairly. What if they then deside to clear off a continent for a massive golf course and erase this fact from our minds.
