11.) What can be the causes of failure of a RCC structure? (I was keep on answering all possible reasons of failure like crushing of concrete, deflection of members, load being greater than the design load, exposure conditions, earthquake loading and what not yet he was not satisfied and spent like 5-6 minutes on it. I didn't know what he was expecting me to answer, in middle he said " nervous mat ho, aur socho thoda". I finally came up with "failure due to differential settlement of foundation because of lesser bearing strength of soil below" and he moved to the next question 12.) Suppose you were given a work(related to construction) and you have made a mistake in doing it then what is the first thing you will do? Me: Sir, if it is possible then I will try to undo the mistake so that it doesn't cause any risk in later stage of project. M3: what if you have an option that your mistake can go unnoticed by your superiors ? me: I will still inform them.
