Women and their unshakable belief system.
The preparation for RBI teaches us so many things resilience, the will to fight, sheer determination, strong aspiration and above all, a kind of discipline that is difficult to explain to someone who has never gone through it.
And the failures can break you in ways that people rarely see.
You sacrifice weekends, leaves, friendships, relationships, family time, small joys and sometimes even your peace of mind. You keep preparing while life around you keeps moving.
And those who still choose to stand their ground, after everything are the real flagbearers of this journey.
Today's post is dedicated to some such women, women who put almost everything at stake, yet continued to carry that little hope and aspiration of achieving something they deeply wanted in their lives.
1. Priyanka Khatwani: Married for 5 years, employed in a bank and having attempted more than 50 exams, Priyanka kept grinding.
She saw failure after failure, but somehow never allowed those failures to convince her that the dream was not meant for her.
She could have easily settled into a comfortable life. She could have told herself that she had already done enough.
But she didn't and in 2025, after all those attempts and failures, she cleared NPS Grade B when there were fewer than three seats in total.
Sometimes, the number of attempts tells you more about a person's character than the final result ever can.
2. Kumari Deeksha: Deeksha completed her graduation and master's through IGNOU, choosing a different path so that she could dedicate herself to her larger goal of getting into RBI.
She made almost every decision with tremendous precision.
It took her 4 attempts to finally clear RBI, at the age of 27.
But what happened in those four attempts is what makes her journey special.
She saw failures. She lived through pain. She spent years preparing largely on her own. She never got to experience the kind of college life that many of us take for granted, going out, meeting people, enjoying those years without constantly thinking about an exam.
Yet she kept her morale high.
Her journey showed what determination and hard work can eventually make possible.
3. Himanshi Tulsiani: Coming from an engineering background, Himanshi saw her own share of ups and downs.
She switched between multiple bank jobs, trying to find some stability and comfort that would allow her to continue pursuing her dream.
And then came health concerns during her preparation, the kind of issues that can be enough to tear a person down completely.
She wrote two consecutive Mains and failed to make it to the final list both times.
At 28, after multiple failures and health struggles, she still chose to continue.
There is something very powerful about continuing when you don't know whether things will eventually work in your favour.
No guarantee. No certainty. Just the belief that maybe this time.
And in 2026, her hard work finally paid off.
Today, she has every reason to celebrate.
4. Ranjini: Imagine working in a bank, being married and crossing the age of 31 while preparing for an exam like RBI Grade B.
At some point, many of us would probably say, “Maybe it wasn't meant for me.”
Or, “Maybe what I already have is good enough.”
And there is nothing wrong with choosing comfort.
But Ranjini chose the other way.
She compromised on almost everything, but not on her preparation.
She continued despite the age, despite the responsibilities, despite the days when motivation starts slipping away and your energy doesn't support you the way it once did.
There comes a point in life when you start becoming philosophical about your choices. You start asking yourself whether all this suffering is really worth it.
She chose to keep going.
And in 2026, she made it to the final list.
