The origin of this quote was somewhat confusing. It has been posted in different forms with an incorrect citation, attributed to the Völkischer Beobachter (VB). The version from this graphic is indeed from the VB, as I went to the trouble to actually locate and consult the source myself, as I do before I make any graphic, and cite any source. The other version of this quote going around is from the earlier 1922 version, first published in Rosenberg's 'Wesen, Grundsätze und Ziele der Nationalsozialistischen Deutschen Arbeiterpartei' (the book went through many editions and was quoted by the prosecution at Nuremberg). That version is similar, but not the same as that later published in the VB. The VB article is expanded from the time the earlier iteration of this quote was first published.
