Друзья, мы с кураторским коллективом выставки "Частная фотография. Вы это уже видели" (в Европейском университете) вернулись из отпусков и запланировали несколько медиаций по выставке на сентябрь.
Медиация — это проход по выставке с беседой, обменом мнениями и впечатлениями, а задача медиатора — не впихнуть в вас знание, а сопроводить ваш опыт восприятия выставки (но если захотите знаний, ими мы тоже поделимся).

Кураторы выставки — студенты и выпускники Европейского университета и Мария Гурьева. На открытии будем смотреть слайды на диапроекторы, фотографироваться и разговаривать о фотографии.
Вход свободный, выставка работает до сентября.

Фотографические репрезентации ландшафтов давно используются для укрепления связи между национальной идентичностью и физической географией. В своём выступлении Ольга Смит исследует подробнее эту связь на примерах из художественной практики Ито Баррады, Бруно Буджелала, Бушры Халили и Лауры Хенно, которые обращаются к теме национальной принадлежности, миграции, перемещения и возвращения на родину в современной Франции. Доклад Ольги Смит основан на материалах книги "Contemporary Photography in France: Between Theory and Practice" (Leuven University Press, 2022).
Ольга Смит (Университет Ньюкасла) — историк искусства, писатель и куратор. В настоящее время она работает над исследованием "пейзажа" как способа изображения природы в антропоцене. Уделяя особое внимание современной фотографии и новым медиа, она занимается изучением взаимосвязей между искусством и интеллектуальными идеями, национальной и транснациональной идентичностью, опытом мигрантов и экокритикой. Ее книга "Contemporary Photography in France: Between Theory and Practice" (Leuven University Press, 2022) была оценена как "открывающая новые перспективы в глобальной историографии медиа".
