4790K is fking hot. On stock voltage (1.3V) it throttles a lot... Undervolted to 1.2V for all cores with constant turbo boost. Constant 4.5Ghz. No more throttling..still hot but fine. VRM was hot too, put mini fan onto it.

Final build. With extra cooler on side case and 2 bug front air intake coolers. Yes, the PC case is old AF and ugly..the PC itself is old..but still kicking.

Since 4790K is extremely hot, I was forced to buy new cpu cooler and change my old school case to another old school case just with front airflow intake. I got one..just with one cooler at the bottom..so i custom made second cooler on top. Looks semi-ugly, but works and..sould is much important than appearance.

Got myself a 4790K. A little overclocked stable results. 4790K is definitely NOT for overclockers. You can't go higher than 4.6ghz without raising already high stock voltage (1.297V) already being hot. Intel dudes just released already pre-overclocked cpu with "K" for marketing. But it's still good for its price as out of box thing. But hot. Make sure to get 200+W TDP cooler in case you ever decide to get this CPU. Overall it's a good upgrade from 4770. My first 4+GHz CPU. My first unlocked CPU.

This and reworked cooling airflow in my PC gave me +8 FPS in Alan Wake 2. I could play stable 60-68 FPS on my shitbox in FHD, DLSS on on mid+ settings. I will just leave this here. Sometimes you need a horror in your life. https://youtu.be/ANhI-Q4QF4M?feature=shared

But I could play with timings in bios. Fully stable, stress tested bench results. Not bad for shit Chinese cheap RAM. Also I get +~8FPS in Alan Wake 2.

So I tried to overclock my RAM in PC and sadly my chipset is restricted to do that. These are stock results in bench.
