Market thoughts for the past few days We’ve seen a lot of retracements happen in the trenches. Most of the major runners from the past couple of weeks have taken significant hits. Pons is down almost 40%. Stonk is down around 50% because of Pump.fun. And overall, the market has become extremely competitive. Most memes and utility coins that were running hard two weeks ago are currently experiencing huge retracements. Do I think meme season or on-chain season is over? No, I don’t. If anything, I think these retracements are going to help filter what’s actually strong from what was simply riding momentum. Personally, I’m quite down on most of my bags right now. Micro duck is one of them, but I’m still holding because I genuinely believe it’s a strong meme. I like the idea behind it, the Nvidia angle, and everything surrounding the project. Jensen even mentioned it during its first major run. We’ve also seen a significant pullback across the Robinhood ecosystem. In my opinion, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Like I said before, these pullbacks help separate the strong projects from the ones that were only performing because of market momentum. Archain has also gone live on mainnet, with a lot of launchpads, coins and vamps For now, I’m not buying anything on Archain. That could obviously change today or tomorrow if I see something I really like. Right now, my main focus is different. I’m trying to reevaluate my bags and identify projects that previously had strong runs but are now trading at levels where I believe there is significant upside if the market recovers. I’m looking for positions where I can realistically see a potential 2x, 3x, 4x or even 5x from current levels—not because I think every coin will do that, but because I want to be positioned in projects with asymmetric upside. Yesterday, the Clarity Act failed to get the votes it needed, and we saw a pretty significant retracement across the majors as well. BTC, ETH, SOL and other majors all pulled back. Despite that, I’m still maintaining my broader bias that the market should be bullish toward the end of the year. For now, though, I’m being patient. I’m not interested in forcing trades just because everything is down. I’m looking for the things that I believe are genuinely cheap, have already proven they can attract attention and liquidity, and could perform strongly when market conditions improve. When I start adding to positions, I’ll share them.
