MIX IQ v1.7 - What's New? Added Smart-Actions which can allow you record transitions and create effects on the fly. Users can now install updates directly through the skin. The main MIX IQ folder migrated into C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\VirtualDJ\Plugins64\SoundEffect Updated the entire top bar of the skin. HOW TO INSTALL: Extract the downloaded file into any folder of your choice. Copy Mix IQ Pro v1.7.zip to your skins folder. Added a dedicated active Sandbox state. Preserved the deck="sandbox" song-position display while Sandbox is active. Applied the general layout, browser, waveform, Settings, ABOUT, and Sandbox improvements to both Free and Premium editions. Applied the new waveform-position system and layout changes to both 2-deck and 4-deck modes. Preserved the custom-browser architecture using <folderlist>, <filelist>, <sideview>, <browsertoolbartree>, and <split> elements. Updated the skin metadata/comment to identify the build as MIX IQ v1.5.

MIX IQ CHANGELOG Version v1.5 Reduced visible deck palette colors to Purple, Cyan, Green, Blue, Red, and Gold across all four decks. Removed unused palette-rendering branches and redundant XML, cutting the skin from roughly 17.9 MB to about 5.9 MB. Removed nonessential XML comments while preserving copyright/author metadata. Expanded palette strips so the six colors fill the full available deck-panel height. Preserved the existing Free/Premium unlock system and all related gating logic. Kept Premium Jogwheels, Pad Hub, Harmonic Key, and other existing Premium-only features protected. Fixed BPM/Key overlap in the song-detail strips for Decks 1 and 3. Reduced Key Match menu/control heights for better spacing. Made Key Match controls visible only when a track is loaded. Improved Browser Zoom controls with clearer maximize/minimize icons. Doubled the SETTINGS width compared with the original panel. Reorganized SETTINGS into two columns. Arranged the left SETTINGS column as Deck Mode → Jogwheel Style → Premium Jogwheels. Arranged the right SETTINGS column as Waveform → Color Scheme → Playmarker Position → Waveform Position. Standardized SETTINGS section/control fonts to 14 px. Removed the old instructional text from the bottom of SETTINGS. Added sufficient visible bottom spacing so Premium Jogwheel controls are no longer clipped. Finalized SETTINGS at 592 × 600 px. Made SETTINGS non-resizable by mouse using resize="false". Removed the resize zone/grip from SETTINGS. Kept SETTINGS draggable while locking its dimensions. Changed SETTINGS behavior so clicking elsewhere on the skin no longer closes it. Made the TOOLS button close SETTINGS instead. Kept the SETTINGS button itself as a toggle. Added a proper fixed-size dark SETTINGS panel background matching the new window size. Updated the ABOUT panel to display Version v1.5. Kept root version="2020" unchanged because that field is the VirtualDJ Skin SDK version, not the MIX IQ release version. Standardized all ABOUT-panel text to 14 px. Changed ABOUT-panel text to clear white. Preserved dynamic FREE EDITION / PREMIUM EDITION labels. Restricted the Harmonic Key ♪ icon and panel to the AUDIO mixer page only. Prevented the Harmonic Key control from appearing on Scratch, Video, or Master mixer pages. Preserved Harmonic Key as a Premium-only feature. Improved Sandbox visibility logic using can_sandbox. Added a disabled/unavailable Sandbox state when Sandbox cannot be entered.
