She could’ve stabbed herself with a kitchen fork and we wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. The knife Lindsay used was gigantic and sharp, yet this is the cut she made. It’s worth repeating that Lindsay is a nurse, and is 100% aware of the type of cut, in which location, and at what depth would be needed in order to kill herself or someone else. She had also successfully completed the methodical strangulation murder of her 3 children just moments before her “attempt.” Lindsay Clancy did not attempt suicide. She intentionally made it look like she tried, and fully planned to come out alive. Every step she took that day was calculated and deliberate. Her only failure was not knowing how to drop from a 2 story window unscathed. She was not in psychosis, she was simply done with her children and consciously chose this plan as her escape hatch.
