Clarification Regarding Student Data Loss and Course Validity Dear Students, We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to our students due to a recent technical issue that resulted in the loss of certain student data from our website. What happened? Due to serious lapses and mishandling by our previous hosting service provider, data available on our website between 11 August and 19 September was affected. The hosting company repeatedly insisted that we move to a particular hosting plan, and the situation ultimately resulted in certain data becoming inaccessible. As a consequence, some students found that their courses, payment records and invoices were missing from their dashboards. This led to a very large number of WhatsApp messages and phone calls from students seeking clarification. Unfortunately, because of the unusually high volume of calls, our spam-call protection system also blocked calls from some genuine students, which further added to the inconvenience. What have we done? We immediately began working to recover the affected data. We also coordinated with Razorpay to retrieve payment-related information and have successfully restored more than 95% of the affected student data. We have also completely moved away from the previous hosting service provider and shifted our systems to more reliable hosting infrastructure. We are taking additional measures to ensure that such an incident does not happen again. We sincerely apologize to all our students for the inconvenience, uncertainty and frustration caused during this period. Validity Extension as an Apology As a gesture of apology and goodwill, Synopsis IAS has extended the validity by one additional batch for students who enrolled on or after 1 January 2026 in our eligible courses. This is our way of acknowledging the inconvenience caused and ensuring that students do not lose out because of an issue that was beyond their control. New Single-Window Student Support System To prevent students from having to contact us repeatedly through different channels, we have also introduced a single-window query resolution system: Student Support: https://synexams.com/contact#chat We request all students to start using this system for course, validity, payment, invoice and dashboard-related queries. You do not need to repeatedly call, WhatsApp, text or contact different members of our team. A single support channel will make it much easier for our team to track your issue and resolve it properly. The chat-support system is currently in beta, so responses may be slower at present. It is expected to become fully functional during Navratri, when additional staff will also join the support team. We request you to start using the system from now itself so that we can gradually improve and streamline the process. If Your Course Access or Validity Is Still Missing If you find that: Your enrolled course is not visible on your dashboard, or Your payment/invoice is missing, or Your extended validity is not showing, please raise one query through the chat-support system. Please provide: Your registered email ID Course name Registered phone number Any relevant payment or enrollment details, if available Our team will verify the information and resolve the issue. We have also attached a screenshot of our communication with the previous hosting service provider for transparency regarding the circumstances that led to this situation.
