I criminali si sono spacciati per funzionari governativi utilizzando un indirizzo email legittimo e associato al dominio ufficiale dell'ente, con indicazioni che puntano all'infrastruttura PEC italiana, e hanno ottenuto informazioni tra cui documenti d'identità, indirizzi, foto per la verifica facciale, dati bancari e cronologia delle transazioni.
