Day 27: Diagramification of your Mains Answer
GS4 begins today. And here is the first thing to understand about Ethics: THERE IS NO DATA TO DRAW. No pies, no bars. What toppers draw instead are FRAMEWORKS - and this pyramid is the most useful one in the paper.
Kohlberg's 6 stages of moral development: avoid punishment → self-interest → good-boy attitude → laws → social contract → principle and conscience. The genius of it in an answer: it lets you LOCATE behaviour. A bribe-taker operates at stage 2. A rule-bound clerk at stage 4. A whistleblower at stage 6. Draw it once and you can diagnose corruption, explain value inculcation, or argue for ethics training - all from the same triangle. And "Kohlberg" written next to it is a thinker attribution the examiner rewards.
