داستان این آهنگ خیلی غم انگیزه، تو جنگ جهانی اول یه سرباز به اسم جو از یک انفجار خیلی بزرگ جون سالم به در میبره اما دست، پا، دندون و تمام حواس پنجگانه ش رو از دست میده اما مغزش سالم میمونه. اولاش از دکترا میخواست که بکشنش ولی کسی قبول نمی‌کرده تا اینکه یه روز با کد مورس از یه پلیس میخواد که تو کل کشور بچرخوننش تا همه بفهمن جنگ چقدر زشت و بده. وقتی هم که این اتفاق میوفته از همون افسر میخواد که بکشتش و افسرم اکسیژن شیشه‌رو قطع میکنه‌و اون میمیره. :(
