Assalamu alaykum I travelled to the flood affected areas in Nowshera, Pakistan today. You can see from the marks on the buildings and walls the water level exceeded 10ft in height. Some houses are still not accessible. These are people that were already poor and now their livelihood and livestock has been destroyed Allahul Musta’aan. We’re distributing food parcels which covers a family of 5/6 for one month. This costs £18.75 each. We’re also providing necessary utensils for cooking, cleaning and slippers for children (many were barefoot), costing £12 each.
