❤🔥What Asiya (عليه السلام) Can Teach Us About Standing up Against Injustice cont'd.. 💫
Lesson 5️⃣
🌹Despite the environment around you your family, spouse, community not seeming to be conducive to piety, in the end, our own strength should come internally, just as Asiyah(AS) did🌹
Allah sometimes places us in situations where those closest to us are our biggest tests. Asiyah(AS), for example, lived under her oppressive husband’s rule, until she cries out to Allah in her pain and loneliness. Allah hears her call, and cites her words in the Qur’an:
“She said, ‘Lord, build me a house near You in the Garden. Save me from the Pharaoh and his actions; save me from the evildoers,’” [Qur’an 66:11]
Asiyah(AS)’s speech in the Qur’an is the last instance of female speech in the Qur’an, and it gives a voice to women in this tragically common social reality – women in oppressive marital relationships. Apart from asking for freedom from the Pharaoh, she calls to Allah with unique words; nowhere else in the Qur’an is there a call for a home in Jannah. It suggests that although she may have lived amongst the aristocrats, in beautiful palaces with immense luxury, she never felt at home because of having to live under domestic tyranny with the Pharaoh. That Allah hears her call and sees her reliance upon Him in her testing situation, acts as a consolation for those under oppression, and more specifically, for women under domestic oppression like Asiyah. It confirms that their intimate calls to Allah too, are heard; that their reliance upon Allah does not go unseen and unrewarded; and that their cries will not go unheeded.

➖“Whoever fasts one day for the sake of Allaah, Allaah will keep his face seventy years’ distance away from the Fire because of it.”
📑Reported by Muslim, 2/808
➖Fasting is something which is just for Allaah, and Allaah will give multiple rewards without measure for it. The hadeeth says: “[Allaah says:] Fasting is Mine and it is I Who give reward for it.”
📑Al-Bukhaari, Fath, no. 1904
➡ *The virtues of Ayyam al-Beed*. Here are some ahadeeth:
➖Jareer ibn ‘Abdullaah (radiAllaahu ‘anhu) narrated that the Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Fasting three days of each month is fasting for a lifetime, and ayyam al-beed are the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth.”
📑Narrated by al-Nasaa’i (2420); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, (1040).
➖“Beed” is the plural of “Abyad” which means white. Three days of 13, 14 and 15 of lunar month are called “Al-Ayyam-ul-Beed” for the reason that their nights are bright because of the moonlight. The moon begins to diminish gradually after these days.
➖Abu Dharr (radiAllaahu ‘anhu) said: The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said to me:
“If you fast any part of the month, then fast the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth.”
📑Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, (761); al-Nasaa’i, (2424); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, (1038)).
➖Abu Hurayrah (radiAllaahu ‘anhu) said:
🔹“My close friend [i.e., the Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)] advised me to do three things which I will never give up until I die:
🔹fasting three days each month,
🔹praying Duha, and
🔹sleeping after praying Witr.”
📑al-Bukhaari, 1178; Muslim, 721.
➖The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
‘Shall I not tell you of something that will take away the evil of the heart? Fasting three days of each month.’

🔸✨🔸✨🔸✨🔸
Surah Al-Mumtahinah
🔸Those who oppose اللّٰه عزوجل and His messanger are not worthy of our friendship. They would wish us to disbelieve and they will never help us.
🔸Never can our relatives and children benefit us on the day of judgment.
🔸We should pray from اللّٰه as:
❤ربنا لا تجعلنا فتنة للذين كفروا واغفر لنا ربنا انك انت العزيز الحكيم❤
🍃🍃 "Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the disbelievers. And forgive us, Our Lord! Verily, You, only You, are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise." 🍃🍃
🔸We are warned not to favour those who oppose us openly, otherwise, we will be decived and harmed.
🔸If we don't sacrifice our religion for the sake of other people and remain firm, Allah might change their hearts towards what if they believe.
🔸Allah will definitely love us if we stand firmly in determined in the way of Allah سبحانه وتعالى.
🔸Our Deen requires discipline from us. It can be achieved by having commitment in our hearts.
📢 *Surah As -Saff*
🔸Once we remained committed, observe proper etiquette and show respect to others.
🔸Our belief in Allah and His messanger and our utmost struggle in the way of Allah سبحانه وتعالى is the true insurance that will prevail for both the worlds.
🔸There are many levels of جهاد, like praying and reciting regularly, and extending our own خير to the life of others is also a kind of جهاد.
🔸Once we respond to Allah's call and strive for His cause we will be successful and our efforts will never go wasted.

🔷 Leaving arguments does not mean that you don't have courage , it simply means that you chose peace over useless conflicts.
📌 HAVE PEACE OF MIND & GET A HOUSE IN JANNAH.
🟣 The Messenger of Allāh صلي الله عليه وسلم said: "Whoever does not argue even when he is wrong will have a home built for him on the edge of Paradise. Whoever avoids it when he is right will have a home built for him in the middle of Paradise. And whoever improves his own character, a home will be built for him in the highest part of Paradise." [Tirmidhi]
🟣 Arguing with people is strongly discouraged in Islam. We are to state our point of view and then leave it at that. Nor are we to involve ourselves in matters that do not affect a person's deen. Note that a person is to shun argument whether he is in the right or whether his stand is wrong.
🟣 Both get houses built for them in Paradise. But since the person who knows that he is right finds it more difficult to leave the argument and let things be, he/she is promised a greater reward.
🟣 Arguing with people rarely gets anyone to change their minds. It usually only produces defensiveness and creates ill feelings between people. The issue becomes a matter of one's ego and makes it more difficult for a person to change their stance.
🟣 Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) loves to have Muslims live harmoniously with each other. Try this hadith out in practice, and you will see that your relations improve with people and that you have greater peace of mind.
🔷 Ya Allah grant us the peace and sweetness of eeman that only salaah can bring in our lives - Allahumma ameen!
