Opening Du’aa (supplication) for salah : saying after the opening takbeer (Saying: Allahu Akbar, i.e. Allah is The Greatest) سُبْحانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، وَتَبارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ، وَلاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ (O Allah, Glorified be You, a glorification that is associated with Your praise, Blessed be Your Name, Exalted be Your Greatness and there is no god but You). Narrated by the Four Scholars. And there is another du’aa اللَّهُمَّ بَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَايَ كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ، اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّنِي مِنْ خَطَايَايَ، كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَ بْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِي مِنْ خَطَايَايَ بِالثَّلْجِ وَالْمَاءِ وَالْبَرَدِ O Allah, distance me from my sins, just as You have distanced the east from the west. O Allah, purify me from my sins, just as a white dress is purified from filth. O Allah, wash me from my sins with ice, water and hail. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] One should choose one of the supplications that were narrated as an Opening Du’aa and say it. 2. Saying أَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطٰانِ الرَّجِيْمِ (I take refuge with Allah from the outcast Devil) before reciting. 3. Starting with Allah’s name, i.e. saying بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم (in the name of Allah, The All-Merciful, The Ever-Merciful). 4. 📖 Reminder For Reading Surah Ikhlas 📖 ♡بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم♡ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ●اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ●لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ●وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ● ♡Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem♡ Qul huwa Allahu ahad●Allah hus samad●Lam yalid wa lam yulad●Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad● There are many benefits of reciting Surah Ikhlas some of them are given below that we all should know about: 💕 Reciting Surah Ikhlas will give protection againsth every kind of affliction and calamity 🖤 If surah Ikhlas is recited on regular basis it will break magic and completely destroys witchcraft, psychic attacks, and malicious magic spells 🏡 House in Jannah. Prophet Mohammed (SAW) said: “Whoever recites Qul Huwa Allaahu Ahad *ten times*; Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Saheeh al-Jaami) 📖 Recitation of Surah Ikhlas brings the benefit of reward equal to the recitation of one-third of Quran. Do this three times 🎈Recite Ayatalkursi (Those who recites ayatalkursi before sleeping he will safe from the whispers of shaytan till the morning) 📓Recite Last two verses of Surah Baqarah (Those who recite 2 verses of surah baqra it's enough for him) *"آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْ رُسُلِهِ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ ۞ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا أَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ* ---------------------------- بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي، وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ، فَإِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَارْحَمْهَا، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا، بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ (1) ---------------------------- 📌 اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ خَلَقْتَ نَفْسِي وَأَنْتَ تَوَفَّاهَا، لَكَ مَمَاتُهَا وَمَحْيَاهَا، إِنْ أَحْيَيْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا، وَإِنْ أَمَتَّهَا فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ( 1) ---------------------------- 📌 اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ ( 3 ) "O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the day Your servants are resurrected. [three times]" ---------------------------- 📌 سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ (33) How Perfect Allah is ---------------------------- 📌 الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ (33) All praise is for Allah ---------------------------- 📌 اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ (34) Allah is the greatest. [thirty-four times]" ---------------------------- 📌 اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، رَبَّنَا وَرَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، فَالِقَ الْحَبِّ وَالنَّوَى، وَمُنْزِلَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنجِيلِ، وَالْفُرْقَانِ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ أّنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتهِ. اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الأَوَّلُ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الْآخِرُ فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فَلَيْسَ فَوْقَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الْبَاطِنُ فَلَيْسَ دُونَكَ شَيْءٌ، اقْضِ عَنَّا الدَّيْنَ وَأَغْنِنَا مِنَ الْفَقْرِ (1) ---------------------------- 📌 الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا، وَكَفَانَا، وَآوَانَا، فَكَمْ مِمَّنْ لاَ كَافِيَ لَهُ وَلاَ مُؤْوِيَ(1) ---------------------------- 📌 اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِي سُوءاً، أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ(1) ---------------------------- 🍬Sleep in a state of wudu   🛏 Clean the bed 💌 Sleep on right side keeping right hand below the cheek. 🎀Sleep with a clean heart. 🔮 Then recite dua *بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا* ( 1) Bismikallahumma 'amootu wa 'ahyaa "In Your name O Allah, I live and die." ⛱️ ﷽ ⛱️ 🌸 *Stories of Less-Known Sahabiyat*🌸 *_Nusaybah bint Ka’ab – Umm Ammarah (رضي الله عنہا)_* You might have heard the name UMM AMMAARAH (رضي الله عنها – may Allah be pleased with her), but you may not know her from her real name – Nusaybah bint Kab! She was a part of the battle of Uhud – where she participated to give water to the thirsty and to take care of the injured. She did not carry any sword, bow or arrow since she didn’t come to fight… But then, the unexpected happened! The archers disobeyed the Prophet (saws) by abandoning the position he commanded them to stay in and fled to collect the war booty instead, thinking that the Muslims have won. The tide then turned against the Muslims and many sahaabas got martyred. Prophet ﷺ lost his teeth as most of the companions either got martyred or fled the war. When Umm ‘Ammarah saw his face bleeding, she dropped her vessel of water and snatched a sword from one of the escaping fighters and a bow and an arrow from another to defend the Prophet ﷺ. Prophet (saws) said: “Whenever I turned left or right on the day of the battle of Uhud, I always saw her (Umm ‘Ammarah) fighting in my defense.” Her son was wounded during the battle so she ran to him and bandaged his wounds, and then commanded him: “Go and fight the people, my son!” The Prophet ﷺ then commended her, “Who can endure what you can endure, Umm Ammarah!” Seeing the Prophet’s pleasure on her bravery, she requested: “Ask Allah to make us your companions in the Garden!” So he made dua for her and her family. She replied: “I do not care what afflicts me in this world now!” That day, she received 13 wounds and a deep neck wound that stayed with her till her death. She also participated in the Battle of Yamama (war against Musaylmah – a self proclaimed prophet) where she received 11 wounds and lost her hand during the battle. One of her son was tortured by Musaylmah who cut his limbs piece by piece until he died. So Umm Ammarah kept looking for Musaylmah through rows of fighters during the battle and killed him with her spear after Wahshi pierced his javelin inside of him. Lessons learned from her story: We learn that bravery is not only jumping into the face of danger yourself for the betterment of many, but also letting your children step ahead into danger for a good cause. As mothers, we may sacrifice ourselves but can never see our children getting hurt.
