Sending ṣalāwat upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday is better than on the rest of the days, and its night (Thursday night) is the best of nights.
He ﷺ said, “Among the best of your days is Friday, so frequently send ṣalāh upon me therein.”

🔲 AASHOORAA ( 10th Of Muharram) & FASTING 🔲
▪ Ashura is 10th of Muharram.
▪ Ashura is derived from word “ Ashrah” meaning, “ten”
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
📌 Fasting the day of ‘Ashoora’ does expiate for the past year,
🍁 Because the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Fasting the day of ‘Arafah I hope Allaah will expiate thereby for the year before it and the year after it, and fasting the day of ‘Ashoora’ I hope Allaah will expiate thereby for the year that came before it.”
📚 Muslim, 1162
🌟 This is by the bounty that Allah bestows upon us, whereby fasting one day expiates for the sins of a whole year. And Allah is the Owner of great bounty.
💫 Musa عليه السلام fasted this day to show gratitude to Allah for drowning Pharaoh and his followers.
🍁 Therefore he fasted this day and the Jews continued to fast this day after him.
🌈 When the Prophet ﷺ arrived in Madinah after migrating, he found the Jews fasting this day.
🌿 He ﷺ said:
“What is this day you are fasting?”
🌿 They said:
“Indeed this is the day Allah empowered Musa عليه السلام and his followers and humiliated and debased Pharaoh and his followers. Musa عليه السلام fasted this day therefore we fast this day”.
🔮 The Prophet ﷺ said:
“ We have more right to Musa than you”(or…we are closer to Musa than you).
☑️ Therefore the Prophet ﷺ fasted this day and he commanded the people to fast.
🌿 Ibn ‘Abbas, who said:
‘The messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to fast ‘Aashooraa’, the tenth day of muharram.’
📚 Reported by Al-Tirmidhi,
✔️ Consequently fasting this day became a confirmed Sunnah.
▪ The fasting for us is recommended to be on 9th & 10th ( OR) 10th & 11th to differentiate from jews.
💢 As the Prophet ﷺ wanted for us to differ from the Jews, thus he commanded us to fast the day prior which is the ninth day.
📌 It is mustahabb (encouraged) to fast Taasoo’aa’ with ‘Aashooraa’
🔖 Abd-Allah Ibn ‘Abbas رضي الله عنهم said:
🌿 “When the messenger of Allah ﷺ fasted on ‘Aashooraa’ and commanded the Muslims to fast as well, they said,
‘o messenger of Allah ﷺ, it is a day that is venerated by the Jews and Christians.
the messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
‘if I live to see the next year, Insha’Allah, we will fast on the ninth day too.’
but it so happened that the messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away before the next year came.”
📚 Reported by Muslim, 1916
🌿 One narration reads
‘or fast the day after it’.
📌 But fasting the ninth day (the day prior of Ashura) is more confirmed.
📍 Therefore the person fasts this day following the example of the Prophets of Allah; (emulating) Musa عليه السلام and (emulating) Muhammad ﷺ in his fast.
🌊 It is the day Allah empowered the Muslims by the hand of Musa عليه السلام. Thus it is the help of Allah for the believers until the hour (Day of Judgment) is established. It is a favor from Allah which He is to be thanked for, and this by fasting.
✔️ This Sunnah has continued throughout the Ummah and all praises belong to Allah.
🌈 Thus the person sees this fast as imperative, seeking the reward, the recompense, and showing gratitude to Allah the Exalted.

اَلسَّـــــلامُ عَلَــيــْكُمْ وَرَحْمَـــةُاللهِ وَبَرَكَــاتُهُ🌸

⭐THE BEST WAY TO SEEK FORGIVENESS
🔹There are many different ways and words one can use to seek forgiveness from Allah. The best manner, however, is to seek forgiveness with the following du‘ā’:
🔹O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god worthy of worship except You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I am under Your covenant and pledge (to fulfil it) to the best of my ability. I seek Your protection from the evil that I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me, and I admit my sins. Forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.
🎗️Shaddād b. Aws (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The most superior manner of seeking forgiveness is that you say [the above]. Whoever says it during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise. And whoever says it during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.” (Bukhārī 6306)

🌙 [MUHARRAM]🌙
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم.
⭕ RED SIGNAL TO THOSE WHO SIN.
>>> IMPORTANCE OF SACRED MONTHS. [الشهر الحرام] جو <<<
📆 The Prophet ﷺ said :
"The year is twelve months, of which four are sacred: three consecutive months, Dhu al-Qa‘dah, Dhu al-Hijjah and Muharram, and Rajab of Mudar which comes between Jumaada and Sha‘baan.”
📚 Narrated by al-Bukhaari 2958
▪Muharram [محرم] ، is so called because it is a sacred month [الشهر الحرام] ; this further emphasizes its sanctity.
💢 The words from Qurān are so stressing & emphasising the importance of months :
فلا تظلموا فيهن انفسكم
“so wrong not yourselves therein”
📗 Soorat at-Tawbah # 36
Meaning:
(do not wrong yourselves) in these sacred months, because doing so is a greater sin than at other times.
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
🚨 _>>>RED SIGNAL TO THOSE WHO CONTINUE TO SIN.<<<_ 🚨
☘️ It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas رضي الله عنه said, concerning the words of Allah _“so wrong not yourselves thereinnot
📕 [Soorat at-Tawbah # 36]:
💢 (The command not to wrong yourself) applies in all months, then Allah singled out four months and made them sacred, and emphasised their sanctity, and He made sin during these months more grave, and He made righteous deeds and the reward thereof greater.
☘️ Qataadah said, concerning the words “so wrong not yourselves therein”:
💢 Commiting Sins, during the sacred months is more serious and incurs a greater burden of sin than in other months. Wrongdoing is a serious matter in any circumstances, but Allah makes whatever He wills of His commands carry more weight.
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
💫 *SELECTION FROM ALLAH* 💫
Allah has chosen elites from His creation:
🍁 Apart from the angels He chose Messengers .
🍁 From among mankind He chose Messengers,
🍁 From among speech He chose remembrance of Him (dhikr),
🍁 From among spaces on earth He chose the mosques,
🍁 From among the months He chose Ramadan and the sacred months,
🍁 From among days He chose Friday (Jumu‘ah),
🍁 And from among nights He chose Laylat al-Qadr.
🔘 So venerate that which has been chosen by Allah, for people of understanding and wisdom respect that which has been chosen by Allah.
📌 The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The best fast after Ramadan is in the month of Allah, Muharram.”
📚 Narrated by Muslim 1982

From My Heart to Yours ❤️☕️
Thinking positive of Allah is such a blessing. It literally removes the locks of Shaytan and waswasa, which cause depression and anxiety. Allah says in a Hadith Qudsi, "I am as My servant thinks of Me" . And we at times forget this hadees.
Thinking good of Allah comes from gratitude, being thankful to Him for what He has bestowed upon us, and simultaneously having hope that He will definitely answer our du'as. It comes from the fact that whatever Allah has decreed, whether it has happened or is happening, has خير في كل شيء (Al-Khayr fi Kulli Shay') - goodness in everything. If we reflect on our past, we will realize that the things He prevented from coming into our lives have paved the way for new things, which were better than them.
Sometimes, we think delay is rejection of our du'as, which leads to hopelessness. But we forget why would Allah allow us to make du'a if He wants to reject it? Sometimes, it is our low faith in Allah that causes delay in our du'as.
By thinking positively of Allah, we can overcome our struggles and difficulties. We can find comfort in knowing that Allah is with us, guiding us, and protecting us. We can learn to trust in His plan and have faith that everything will work out for our good. We can grow in our relationship with Him, and our du'as will become more sincere and heartfelt. We will no longer feel like we are talking to a distant God, but to a loving and caring Allah who wants the best for us.
So, let us strive to think positively of Allah, to have hope and faith in Him, and to trust in His plan. Let us remember that He is always with us, guiding us, and protecting us. And let us never forget the power of du'a, and the impact it can have on our lives.

📆 The virtue of the month of Muharram 📆
💎 The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said:
أَفْضَلُ الصِّيَامِ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرُ اللَّهِ الْمُحَرَّمُ
The best fast after Ramadan is the month of Allah; al-Muharram
💎 Therefore it is recommended to increase fasting during this month
💎 It (Muharram) is also from the sacred months.
Among the four, Dhul Qadah, Dhul Hijjah, Muharram, Rajjab.
💎 It is the month the companions selected to be the first month of the Hijri year—during the Caliph of Umar رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.
Thus it is a month of virtue.
🍃 From its greatest virtues is that it contains the Day of Ashura
.
The Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ informed us that fasting this day will expiate for the previous year💎
🌊 Musa عليه السلام fasted this day to show gratitude to Allah for drowning Pharaoh and his followers
. Therefore he fasted this day and the Jews continued to fast this day after him.
When the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ arrived in Madinah after migrating, he found the Jews fasting this day. 🌈 Consequently, fasting this day became a confirmed Sunnah.
🌈 But the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ wanted for us to differ from the Jews, thus he commanded us to fast the day prior which is the ninth day.

⛱️ ﷽ ⛱️
✨ Repentance and Hope ✨
In last week's post we read that turning to Allah and seeking His Mercy requires repentance for one's mistakes. Just as physical space is needed to place something, the heart must be cleared of worldly distractions to fill it with faith and light. This purification, essential for spiritual growth, starts with repentance, as the Quran advises: "And always, O you believers – all of you – turn unto God in repentance, so that you might attain to a happy state!" (An-Nur 24:31).
Repentance should be accompanied by a certain feeling that Ibn
Ataa’ emphasizes here in this word of wisdom. It is hope in Allah. But why is hope necessary for repentance? And what does this have to do with my journey? This is what Ibn Ataa’ explains here. He says:
“If you find yourself having less hope in Allah when you make a mistake, then realize you are only relying on your work, not on Allah’s Mercy.”
This means that if you are keen to rely on Allah’s Mercy and put all your trust in Him, make sure that you are not self-righteous! Do not think that you have achieved virtue because of your efforts and deeds. And among the signs of one’s relying on his/her deeds, more than on Allah’s Mercy and Bounty, is the decrease in hope when one makes a mistake. Hope in Him should always be at the same level.

From Aws bin Aws ath-Thaqafi who said I heard the Messenger of ﷺ saying:
'Whoever performs a perfect Ghusl on Friday then goes very early to the Khutbah, walking and not riding, sits close to the Imam, listens and does not speak or keep himself busy then for every step towards the Khutbah is the reward equivalent to a year of fasting and praying.'
