From Darkness to Lights ✨|Reflection on the ayahs of Qur'an 📖 Ayah (Al-Baqarah 2:186) Arabic: وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌۖ أُجِيبُ دَعۡوَةَ ٱلدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِۖ فَلۡيَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلۡيُؤۡمِنُواْ بِي لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡشُدُونَ English (Sahih International): “And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.” 🌿 Reflection Points 1. Allah didn’t tell the Prophet ﷺ to answer — He answered Himself: When we ask “Where is Allah? Does He hear me?” the response comes directly from Allah: “I am near.” This shows His softness and nearness to broken hearts. 2. Dua is always heard — even when we don’t see signs: Allah didn’t say maybe or sometimes. He said: “I respond.” Every whisper, every silent tear, every hidden fear — He hears it all. 3. Closeness is two-way: Allah is near, but He also tells us: “So let them respond to Me.” Meaning — obey, return, keep turning back with sincerity. 4. Guidance comes through connection: Our iman, obedience, and duas combine to create the path of rushd (right guidance). 5.
