The biggest mistake today would be buying an option merely because Nifty opens green. The option chain is explicitly telling us that 24,300 is the wall. Make price break the wall before paying someone else for the privilege of owning theta decay.

Positive.
Nvidia's strong outlook boosted US technology stocks and helped the Nasdaq.
Impact: Positive for Nifty, particularly IT.

Warsh's speech could change expectations around inflation and interest rates.
Impact: Event risk.

This puts Nifty directly into the 24,200–24,300 resistance zone, which is the important part of today's setup.
US equities received a significant boost from Nvidia. Nvidia's strong revenue outlook pushed the stock sharply higher and lifted the Nasdaq and technology sector.
That is supportive for the Indian IT/technology complex and overall risk sentiment.
But there is a major event risk
Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's Jackson Hole speech is the major global macro event. Markets are looking for clues on inflation and future monetary policy, while US yields remain elevated.
So today's setup is:
Positive opening cue + significant resistance + major Fed-event risk.
In other words, the market has generously provided us with a reason to avoid chasing the first green candle like a human with a lottery ticket. 😄 | 202 |
