Iran is struggling to cope with the huge fire at the port of Bandar Abbas, where 18 people were killed and another 750 injured: the fire is intensifying, more containers have exploded.
Schools and workplaces in the area will not open today, and residents of the district are being asked to stay home due to toxic gases.
Iran claims that negligence in storing chemicals in containers caused the huge explosion.
According to a report in the Associated Press, "the fire was caused by poor handling of a fuel shipment from China, intended for ballistic missiles."
Financial Times report: The Chinese military has taken control of the small island of Sandy Cay in the South China Sea. The island itself is uninhabited, belongs to Vietnam, and is relatively close to the Philippines' most important military deployment point in the South China Sea, one of the most tense arenas in the world today.
The death toll from the explosion at the port of Bandar Abbas in Iran yesterday has risen to 18, and firefighting efforts are still ongoing. The entire city is expected to be closed today, including educational institutions, official institutions and businesses.
Wall Street Journal: Major disagreements were recorded today in talks between Iran and the US, although the parties ultimately claimed that the talks were useful and positive. The disagreements centered mainly on the question of whether Iran could continue to enrich uranium on its own, and also on the US's desire to include Iran's missile project in the agreement.

Aerial image of Bandar Rajaei reveals new dimensions of the explosion. The blast occurred in at least two or three areas of the port, not just one. Three sources of smoke are visible in the image.
Congratulations to Israel for winning the gold medal at the European Fencing Championship!
Congratulations to Italy for winning the bronze medal
Shame on Switzerland (silver medalists) for turning their backs during Israel's national anthem
Even now, Iranian emergency forces are fighting the flames and trying to control the fire. The Iranian agency is reporting 6 missing people in addition to the dead and injured.
Israel was not involved in the explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port in southern Iran, the Jewish state's Channel 12 reported on Saturday citing Israeli officials.
Shahid Rajaee Port is Iran's largest port, handling 85% of all loading and unloading of containers in the country
It is also the 2nd largest container port in the entire Middle East region.

The clearest footage of the explosion in Shahid Rajaee Port until now
It starts with orange mist from Ammonium Nitrate (often used as fertilizer), then a fire, and then the main explosion.
Trump:
There was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas, cities and towns, over the last few days. It makes me think that maybe he doesn’t want to stop the war, he’s just tapping me along, and has to be dealt with differently, through “Banking” or “Secondary Sanctions?”
Merneptah was the 13th son of Ramesses ii. Although his life was overshadowed by his father, many Egyptologists suggest that Merneptah was both a co-ruler and the real power behind the throne in the last few years of Ramesses’s life.
His military campaigns are recorded on three separate ancient inscriptions, with the Victory Stele of Merneptah as one of them.
With 25 readable lines written in hieroglyphics, the inscription recounts Merneptah’s conquests of the land of Canaan. Part of the inscription reads:
Canaan is captive with all woe.
Ashkelon is conquered, Gezer seized,
Yanoam made nonexistent;
Israel is laid waste, bare of seed,
Israel, then, must have been a people strong enough for Merneptah to mention them in boasting of his victory. If Israel was some small nomadic tribe just beginning to settle in Canaan, Merneptah wouldn’t have had anything to boast about. Alternatively, if Israel had been established for 200 years, built its own structures and had a stronger military, then his victory would be worth mentioning.
The Pharaohs are dead
Israel is alive!
The Merneptah Stele (or Israel Stele) is an engraved stone slab which describes Pharaoh Merneptah’s military victories in 1207 BC The stele itself is dated to the year 1205 BC Renowned British archaeologist Flinders Petrie discovered this two-meter-tall, inscribed granite monument in 1896 at Thebes. It contains the earliest undisputed extra-biblical reference to Israel to date.
The mention of Israel in this 3,200-year-old document suggests, at the time of its inscription, the nation of Israel was an established power and not a nomadic people who had just recently entered the land of Canaan. Before the discovery of the stele, many dated the Exodus much later, but now they are forced to reconcile with the fact that Israel was already an established power in Canaan in 1207BC.

“We shall burn you as Hitler did, but this time we won’t have a single one of you left.”
There is no free press in Gaza. Every “journalist” in the Strip works for Hamas. Anyone who refuses to spread Hamas’s propaganda is executed as a dissident.
More than 600 people have already been injured in an explosion in Iran.

Zelensky after meeting with Trump:
Good meeting. One-on-one, we managed to discuss a lot. We hope for a result from all the things that were said. Protection of the lives of our people. Complete and unconditional ceasefire. Reliable and lasting peace that will prevent a recurrence of war. A very symbolic meeting that has the potential to become historic if we achieve joint results. Thank you, President Donald Trump!
Ron Krivoi, who was kidnapped on October 7 and released in the first deal, went through a crazy story in Gaza during which he managed to escape his captors for 4 days and roam freely in Gaza. Then he was caught by Gaza residents who captured him, beat him badly and returned him to the Hamas terrorists. Yes, these are the "uninvolved in Gaza"
