We have been getting tons of messages regarding legal issues. We would like to clarify with everyone we have spoken to our legal team and addressed the concerns by the community. Our legal team asked us to completely rebrand our image. Thus us using Pika instead of Pikachu. We have also completed removed direct imaging that can relate us back to Nintendo, using only fan art. In recent year Nintendo has lifted their strict copyright issues and we are using that to our advantage. On our new website there is also a disclaimer stating we are not associated with Nintendo. The reason we have used the name Pika is because of three reasons: 1. Pik and Pikachu are copyrighted by Nintendo. 2. Pika is the name of an animal. 3. Community can easily relate Pika to Pikachu. If you have any further concern please do not hesitate to get in contact with one of the admins.
