3	💊PILLOLA DEL GIORNO💊 🔍Scoperta una firma proteica nel sangue che può predire il rischio di tumore al polmone🫁 I ricercatori del Francis Crick Institute e dell’University College London, supportati da Cancer Research UK e dal European Research Council, hanno identificato una “firma” di 14 proteine nel sangue associata a un rischio aumentato di sviluppare un tumore al polmone più di cinque anni prima della diagnosi. Combinando questa firma proteica con le conoscenze su come l’infiammazione favorisca il cancro, il team è riuscito a individuare persone ad alto rischio che potrebbero beneficiare di farmaci in grado di impedire l’insorgenza del tumore al polmone, un importante passo verso la prevenzione oncologica di precisione.
