Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāhu, wa-llāhu Akbar Allāhu Akbar, wa-lillāhi-l-ḥamd.

Narrated by ibn al-ʿAbbās رضي الله عنه‎: While I was standing amongst the people who were invoking Allāh for ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb who was lying (dead) on his bed, a man behind me rested his elbows on my shoulder and said, "(O ʿUmar!) May Allāh bestow His Mercy on you. I always hoped that Allāh will keep you with your two companions, for I often heard Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "I, Abū Bakr and ʿUmar were (somewhere). I, Abū Bakr and ʿUmar did (something). I, Abū Bakr and ʿUmar set out. So I hoped that Allāh will keep you with both of them." I turned back to see that the speaker was ʿAlī ibn ʾAbī Ṭālib. [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3677]

The Special Force for the Security of the Masjid al-Ḥarām in Makkah has initiated an investigation into the case of a person throwing themselves from the upper floors of the Masjid al-Ḥarām. The individual was transported to the hospital to receive necessary medical care without disclosing their nationality. The Special Force for the Security of Masjid al-Ḥarām stated that "the necessary procedures were completed," without revealing further details about the incident.

Had it not been for Allah’s grace and mercy upon you in this world and the Hereafter, you would have certainly been touched with a tremendous punishment for what you plunged into when you passed it from one tongue to the other, and said with your mouths what you had no knowledge of, taking it lightly while it is extremely serious in the sight of Allah. [Sūrah an-Nūr, Verse 15-16]

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments except what normally appears.  Let them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their hidden adornments except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women, those bondwomen in their possession, male attendants with no desire, or children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness. Let them not stomp their feet, drawing attention to their hidden adornments. Turn to Allah in repentance all together, O believers, so that you may be successful. [Sūrah an-Nūr, Verse 31]

Abū Qatāda رضي الله عنه reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily, you will never leave anything for the sake of Allāh Almighty but that Allāh will replace it with something better for you.” [Musnad Aḥmad 23074]

‎ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين واجعلنا للمتقين إماما ‎Rabbanā hab lanā min azwājinā waḏurriyyātinā qurrata aʿyunin wa-jaʿalnā lilmuttaqīna imāmā ‎Our Lord, give us joy in our spouses and offspring. Make us good examples to those who are aware of You

Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported Allah's Messenger ﷺ as saying: Do you know who is poor? They (the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ) said: A poor man amongst us is one who has neither dirham with him nor wealth. He ﷺ replied: The poor of my Ummah would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers and fasts and Zakat but (he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues) since he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one (who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in (his account) and he would be thrown in the Hell-Fire. [Sahih Muslim 2581]

اللهم إني أسألك علما نافعا، ورزقا طيبا، وعملا متقبلا Allāhumma innī āsʾāluka ʿilmān nafiʿān, warizqān ṭayyibān, waʿamalān mutaqabbalān. O Allāh, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds.

ʾUmm Salamah رضي الله عنها reported Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as saying: If any servant of Allāh who suffers a calamity says, what Allāh has commanded him: "ʾInnā Li-llāhi Wa ʾInnā Ilay-hi Rājiʿūn Allāhumma ājirnī fī muṣībatī wa-khlif lī khayran minhā". Allāh will give him reward for affliction, and would give him something better than it in exchange. She (ʾUmm Salamah رضي الله عنها) said: “When Abū Salama رضي الله عنه‎ died. I uttered (these very words) as I was commanded to do by the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ. So Allāh gave me better in exchange than him. (I was taken as the wife of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ).” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 918b]

Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه‎ reported Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as saying that Allāh, the Exalted and Glorious, thus stated: “I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2675a]

‎Narrated by Ubādah ibn aṣ-Ṣāmit رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: ‎“Whoever gets up at night and says: 'Lā ilāha illAllāhu, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shaiʾin qadīr. Alḥamdulillāhi wa-SubḥānAllāhi wa-Lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāhu w-Allāhu Akbar wa-Lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata ʾillā bi-llāh.' ‎لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير ‎ الحمد لله وسبحان الله ولا اله الا الله والله اكبر ولا حول ولاقوة إلا بالله ‎(None has the right to be worshipped but Allāh. He is the Only One and has no partners. For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him. He is Omnipotent. Praise be to Allāh and Glory be to Allāh, and There is no God but Allāh, and Allāh is Greatest And there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allāh). ‎And then says: Allāhumma-ġfirlī ‎اللهم اغفر لي ‎(O Allāh! Forgive me). ‎Or invokes (Allāh), he will be responded to, and if he performs ablution (and prays), his prayer will be accepted." ‎[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1154]

Allāh! There is no god worthy of worship except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He fully knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He wills to reveal. His Seat encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest. [Sūrah al-Baqarah, Verse 255]

‎اللهم إني أسألك العافية في الدنيا والآخرة ‎[Allāhumma inn-ī ʾasʾalu-k al-ʿāfiyah fī dun’yā wal-ākhirah] ‎O Allāh, I ask You for my wellbeing in this world and the next

The 20th of Ramaḍān marks the Conquest of Makkah. After years of persecution from the Quraysh, the muslims finally entered Makkah, peacefully, and openly practised Islām. This victory paved the way for the whole of Arabia to accept the faith. The Conquest if Makkah also teaches us how the Prophet ﷺ made alliances with non-Muslims to preserve peace and security, it also teaches us to be patient and have faith in Allāh subḥānahū wa-taʿālā.

O Allah, You are the most knowing, the most wise. You know what is hidden and what is apparent, and nothing is hidden from You. You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and You are the Lord of everything. You are the most merciful of the merciful, and You are the most generous of the generous. O Allah, I am in need of the good You send me. Please grant me a righteous spouse, who will be a comfort to my eyes and a source of joy to my heart. Someone who will help me to worship You, who will be obedient to You and will obey me, and who will be a good parent to my children. O Allah, guide me to the one whom You have chosen for me, and make it easy for me to marry them. Help me to be patient and steadfast in my pursuit of them, and help me to overcome any obstacles that may arise. O Allah, I put my trust in You and I seek Your help and protection.
